A/N: If you can tell where I stopped writing this then recently got back into it, extra brownie points for you. Enjoy this crap!

The Havock had been making some unusual sounds as of late, for a vessel as old as she was, she had been working pretty well up to this point. Normally it was a quick fix either done by Tech or Echo, but right now it seemed to be something a little more serious.

The others had left the ship within the few hours you were grounded. Tech had landed the craft on a planet with a small population as to not draw any unwanted attention. He was sat under the console with a screwdriver in hand and his trusty datapad in the other. You, meanwhile, were sat in the pilot's chair watching him work away; at his every beck and call.

It wasn't uncommon for you two to be left together by the others, knowing they grew tired of waiting around with nothing happening. So, Tech had given them a basic map of the village and told them to have at it, Wrecker and Omega were desperate for some time off the ship, staying in it for over two cycles would do that to a person.

Hunter and Echo were a little more cautious, but the moment the sun hit their faces they sighed out a breath of fresh air and embraced the trail to the village. At first, Echo offered his assistance, knowing he could probably find the source of the sounds within an instant, but Tech being Tech declared he would be capable of finding the problem.

So they left.

You had been wandering around the ship bored out of your mind before you decided to help the poor man. He didn't offer or even look like he required help, happily working away in the quietness of the cockpit. But he looked lonely, he'd spend all his time doing this sorta stuff if you didn't get on to him about looking after one's self.

You skirted around the door, head popping in and out of the room in fear of disturbing him; though you imagine your presence was enough to unsettle him anyway.

"Can I help you?" his voice rung out, Tech was still laying on his back, head aimed up under the cockpit, yet he still knew you were there. Blushing a little, you stepped forward, the door swooshing shut behind you, "I thought you might want some help?" you meekly asked.

This felt strange to you, with anyone else you were loud, boisterous, a troublemaker some might say. Yet, with Tech you were the complete opposite: skittish, shy, quiet. To say you created more questions than you did answer them to Tech would be an understatement.

You expected Tech to say no, politely refuse your offer and continue working but allow you to sit and watch, hell, maybe he'll even teach you something. But instead, he shuffled out from the small hole he lodged himself into and scratched his head in deep thought, "I-I think I may require some...assistance." he muttered.

You were stunned, Tech had asked for help before but they were few and far between. You were silent for a brief second, in absolute shock at the opportunity that currently presented itself to you. Nodding your head rapidly you stepped closer to where he sat, crouching to be eye-level with him, "What do you need me to do? I can go call Echo?"

Tech shook his head, reaching to grab your arm before you could stand straight, "No!" he shouted. Coughing to disguise his embarrassment, he pulled his hand away, coiling in on himself, "That won't be necessary."

"I- I'm not that great with all this sorta stuff, I really do think Echo will be much better at-"

Tech scoffed at your reply, "I don't need Echo, I actually need you."

"Specifically me?" you questioned, still unsure. Tech's face lit up with amusement, brown eyes staring into your own with a slight sparkle, "You specifically," he reaffirmed. You felt your insides squealing with pure delight, you held it in, putting on a more serious face as you accepted.
