Nate Tennyson is the son of the long deceased Ben Tennyson. After many years, Nate finds his father's Omnitrix and becomes the new user. He befriends other successors of the former JSA.
Nate was outside Courtney's house. He rang the doorbell but nobody answered. He then noticed that the basement lights were on. Nate activated the Omnitrix and hit the faceplate.

Nate floats and fades through into the basement. Courtney was down there with Pat.
Big Chill: Hey, guys.
A woman moved into view and saw him.
Barbara: Oh, my God! What is that thing?!
Pat: Nate, what are you doing here?!
Barbara: You know this thing?
Big Chill: You must be Courtney's mom.
He goes in for a handshake.
Barbara: Stay away from me!
Big Chill: Oh, yeah. Whoops.
Nate untransformed.
Nate: Sorry about that. I forgot.
Barba: Okay! Explain everything from the beginning.
Nate: From the beginning? Well, it started when an alien device did what it did.
Pat: Nate, why are you here?
Nate: I just came by to let Courtney know that I didn't die in my fight against Vilgax.
Courtney: Good to know.
Barbara: Who's Vilgax?
Nate: Trust me, that's a can of worms you don't want to open.
Pat: Nate!
Nate: I should probably go now, shouldn't I?
Pat: Yeah.
Nate: Okay, bye.
Nate starts walking away.
Nate: Um... should I use the front door, or transform again?
Pat: Darn it, Mike's upstairs. You're gonna have to transform.
Nate: Okay then.
He activated the Omnitrix and started scrolling through it.
Nate: This may take a while, there's like one billion plus species in this now.
Pat: Just pick one and leave.
Nate: Easier said than done.
He hit the faceplate.
