Nate Tennyson is the son of the long deceased Ben Tennyson. After many years, Nate finds his father's Omnitrix and becomes the new user. He befriends other successors of the former JSA.
In the garage of his house, Nate was working on his car with the radio on. Suddenly, it turned off. He rolled out from under the car and sat up to see Faith by the radio.
Nate: Hey, Faith. Can I help you?
Faith: I don't know, can you?
Nate: Depends on what it is.
Faith: Well, I'm working with some other people, and we are working on taking down you and your friends once and for all.
Nate: Huh. I hoped it was math homework. So, where do you fit into this?
Faith: The combined power of my mother and father is very useful as it turns out.
Nate: You're using magic? How?
Faith: With this.
She pulls out the spell book.
Nate: Did you break into Aunt Gwendolyn's house for that?
Faith: Wouldn't you like to know? Now, we have a plan for you.
Nate stayed turned away and activated the Omnitrix behind his back.
Nate: Oh? What would that be?
Faith: Look at you, trying to get me to spill all my secrets. I've told you all you need to know.
Nate: Oh well, it was worth a shot.
Faith: Berdi Mordo Nata!
Fire expelled from Faith's hand. Nate turned and hit the Omnitrix.

Nate absorbed the blast and sent it back at her.
Chromastone: I don't want to fight, Faith.
Faith: Too bad. Merchucus Verditis!
She sent a beam of energy only for it to be absorbed again.
Chromastone: Give up, Faith. You can't beat Chromastone with your kind of powers.
Faith: Maybe so. But what about him?
Suddenly, Devin flew in and knocked Nate high into the air. Devin grabbed him by the leg and slammed him back into the ground. He used Echo Echo's sonar scream whilst pinning him to the ground. Nate untransformed passed out.
Faith: I don't see what the big fuss was.
Devin: Well, you couldn't defeat him either.
Faith: I could've. Just thought I'd give you some time to shine.
Devin: Sure. Let's just take him back.
Devin lifts him over his shoulder and flies away. Faith follows using a spell. Fran sees this from down the street. She pulls out her phone and starts a call.
Fran: Rook, we've got a problem.

Nate woke up in the ISA's lair. He tries to move but his arms were chained up and he couldn't reach the Omnitrix. He looked around and saw the severed hand of Vilgax on a table.
