S3 EP9 - The Monsters

Nate knocked on the door to the Whitmore-Dugan house. Barbara opened the door.

Barbara: Nate, come in. Courtney and Yolanda are upstairs.

Nate: Thanks, Barbara, but I need to speak to Pat.

Barbara: Oh, he's in the kitchen.

Nate walked into the house and made his way to the kitchen.

Nate: Pat.

Pat: Nate, what's up?

Nate: It was never him, Pat.

Pat: What? Who are you talking about?

Nate: It was never my dad, it was always Eon.

Pat: Damn it. I'm so sorry, Nate.

Nate: He killed my mom, Pat. I lost them both. And now, I don't know what to do.

Pat: Hey, we'll figure it out.

Nate: You don't understand. He has the Omnitrix, Pat. He has access to Alien X. I am the only one who can stop him.

Pat: God. Well, are you... prepared to do it?

Nate: I don't know. But, it's the last resort we'd have.

Courtney: Hey, guys, what are you two talking about?

They turned to see Courtney and Yolanda had come from upstairs.

Nate: It's not important. Yolanda, I heard what happened, are you okay?

Yolanda: I don't think my family kicking me out will ever be okay.

Nate: I'm here for you, whatever you need.

Yolanda: Thank you.

Courtney: Hey, Nate, can I talk to you for a sec?

Nate: Uhm, sure.

Nate and Courtney walk into another room.

Courtney: So, you and Yolanda?

Nate: She told you?

Courtney: I'm her best friend.

Nate: Yep. But that's not why you dragged me out of the room, what's up?

Courtney: I want to do something and I need your support. Yolanda has already backed me up. I need a majority with me on this.

Nate: What is it?

Courtney: I want to tell Cameron everything. Who we are, what we do-

Nate: And why we killed his dad?

Courtney: He deserves to know.

Nate: Court, you realize that if he doesn't like the reason, he knows who we are, where we live and would most definitely come after us?

Courtney: He wouldn't do that.

Nate: You can't guarantee that.

Courtney: You brought people in without asking the team.

Nate: Yeah, my family and, to be fair, they did eventually try to kill us, Courtney.

Courtney: And now they aren't, see my point?

Nate: Not really, no. Probably because there isn't one.

Courtney: Why won't you consider this?

Nate: Because I don't trust him enough, honestly.

Courtney: Do you trust me?

Nate: That's not fair.

Courtney: Trust me that Cameron can be trusted.
