Nate was sat at his kitchen table, looking through his aunt's spellbook that he had taken from Faith. Ship began to nudge his leg.

Nate: You bored too, Ship?

Rook entered the room.

Rook: You are still looking at that book?

Nate: Yeah. I found something that could lead us to Faith.

He turned the book to Rook to show the remnants of a ripped out page from the spine.

Nate: Whatever this spell was, I'm guessing that Faith needed it closer to her person for some reason.

Rook: That still does not tell us where she is.

Nate: No... but it's a start.

They suddenly hear the noise of the front door opening.

Kai: Nate, I'm back.

Nate quickly hid the spell book as his mom entered the room.

Nate: Hey, Mom. How was the business trip?

Kai: Boring, as usual.

Ship: Ship Ship!

Ship clung onto her leg.

Kai: Oh, um, why is the Mecamorph dog here?

Nate: It's a long story that I don't have time to explain.

Kai: Um, alright. I'm gonna go upstairs and unpack now. Call me if you need anything.

Nate: Will do.

Kai: Make sure he behaves, Kallus.

Rook: Of course, ma'am.

Kai walks upstairs.

Rook: Why not tell her?

Nate: If we tell her then she'll bring the Plumbers.

Rook: I still do not see the problem.

Nate: I checked the database. The Plumbers have never dealt with anything as powerful as Eclipso. We need to prevent them from doing anything drastic.

Rook: I suppose that makes sense.

Nate: For the time being, we need to find Zs'Skayr. So don't say anything to my mom.

Rook: Understood. What are we doing first?

Nate: First, you stay here and use your laptop to connect to Plumber satellites and scan the planet for Ectonurite activity. I, on the other hand, have to go get dinner from Mr Baumann's.

Rook: Those do not seem like balanced tasks.

Nate: I know, you get to sit here and look at a laptop while I have to deal with the most rage induced man on the planet.

Nate was walking through town with his phone out watching a live feed of Frankie's tennis match. He accidentally bumped into Courtney.

Nate: Sorry.

Courtney: That's fine, Nate. How are you doing?

Nate: Um, good. Apart from watching my cousin disintegrate in front of me, perfectly fine.

Courtney: Yeah, are you sure you're alright?

Nate: Yeah, I've got it handled. Um, Court, I've got something to tell you.

Cameron: Got the decorations.

Nate turned to see Cameron holding a box of July 4th decorations.

Cameron: Hey, Nate.
