Devin Levin was standing at the front door of Nate's house.

Nate: What are you doing here?

Devin: Good to see you too.

He walks inside.

Nate: It's not that it's not good to see you, it's just that I'm surprised you're here.

Devin walked into the front room where Rook was sitting.

Devin: Hey, Rook.

Rook: Devin, welcome. I was not aware of your arrival.

Nate: Yeah, neither was I.

Devin: Sorry 'bout that, I thought I'd come by.

Nate: Well, um, if you're looking for your parents, they're off world.

Devin: I wasn't actually. Thought I'd come see how my favourite cousin was doing.

Nate: I'm doing fine. So, you can leave now.

Devin: Actually, I thought I could stay for a few days.

Nate: You're not carrying any luggage.

Devin: So?

Nate: Uh, well, I guess you can sleep on the couch.

Devin: Sweet.

Rook: Nate, may I talk with you a second?

Rook and Nate walk out into the hallway.

Rook: Devin can not stay here.

Nate: Why not?

Rook: Because, not only do we have a job to do, but, you and the JSA have now got a much bigger problem on your hands. Devin is a distraction we can not afford.

Nate: Alright, alright. I get it. I'll talk to him.

They walk back into the living room to see Devin, fast asleep.

Nate: Tomorrow. It's late, Rook. Besides, my mom won't be back for a few days.

Rook: Fine.

———

Eon was in the ISA base checking over The Hands of Armageddon.

Eon: Soon, my lost brothers and sisters. Soon you shall rise from the ashes of our homeworld and take back our place in the universe.

He walks into the meeting room to see Cindy staring at the ISA portrait.

Cindy: I'll begin recruiting today. If I can convince Nate to join me, you will have a full strength Chronian to charge The Hands.

Eon: And if you can't?

Cindy: I'll have to use a necessary amount of force to get him here.

Eon: Good.

———

Nate and Rook walked downstairs after waking up to see Devin eating food at the table.

Nate: I see you made yourself some food. Any for us?

Devon: Nope, sorry. Used the last of the bacon in the fridge.

Nate: That's fine, we can just have cereal.

Nate and Rook both made a bowl of cereal and joined Devin at the table.

Nate: So, Devin. It's good to see you again after all this time.

Devin: Yeah, what's it been? Four years?

Nate: Five, actually. Long time.

Devin: Yeah, wasn't exactly one of my best days. But, you remember, Nathan.
