Chapter 15: My Ex is Back

IYA'S POV:

That night hindi ako makatulog. Hindi pa rin tumatawag si Rhyle. Nag aalala na ako kaya tinawagan ko siya pero out of reach ang phone niya. What's happening to him?

Ang hirap naman nito. Hindi ako makatulog. Ganito ba talaga?

I can feel his warm lips sa mga labi ko. I can feel the electricity and passion of the kiss. It tickles and gives me an urge to kiss him back  passionately and grasp for an air.... what a dream.... his lips strolling down at the back of my neck. "I missed you babe," he whispered.

What? Shocks.... napamulat ako aftet hearing it. Si Rhyle.... akala ko nananaginip ako but hindi. Naitulak ko siya.

"Anong ginagawa mo?"

"What?" Natawa ito. "Babe ano bang klaseng tanong yan?" He groaned leaving the room and went to the couch sa sala. Sumunod ako sa kanya. Nakatayo lang ako sa frame nang pintuan, looking at him na di makapaniwala. What just happened was real.. I groaned and went to the kitchen and drink some water. Nagulat nalang ako nang niyakap niya ako mula sa likuran. He hugged me tight.

"I'm sorry kanina. I find you breathtakingly beautiful sleeping in your bed, that is why hindi ko napigilan ang urge to kiss you."

"Pero paano ka nakapasok e nakalock naman ang pinto?"

"Honestly I have a spare key."

"Ah ganun." Humarap ako sa kanya kaya magkalapit naman ang mukha namin. "So it means, I'm not safe here."

Tumawa ito. Loko loko talaga tong si Rhyle, aga aga lakas ng trip... kainis.. "of course not," he gave me a quick kiss. "I will not rape you, unless you wan it and give me permission to do it. You know?" At kumindat pa ang loko. Nakakainis, bakit ba ang gwapo nito. Gustong tumalon ng puso ko sa kilig at kaba.

"E ginawa mo sa akin,ano yun?

"Kiss? Babe, just give it to me." He said  na parang bata.

"Ok," I sigh. He look at me intently. Nailang naman ako. "Bakit?" I said leaning on the counter.

"Ha? Ah wala. Bakit?"

"Ba't ganyan ka makatingin? May gusto ka bang sabihin?" Nanunukso kong sabi. I calm my nerves through battering him questions and the same time kinakabahan din sa maaari niyang isagot sa akin. "Coffee?"

"Yes please."

I looked at him. He seems disturbed. "Ahm Rhyle? Your coffee."

"Thanks."He sipped on coffee. "Taste great."

"You're welcome. Rhyle?" My second attempt na tanunin siya. I'm hessitant baka magalit siya.

"Yes?" He said looking at me  na  parang slow motion . Sh**--t don't look at me like that... ang sigaw ng utak ko.... nakakainis, he looks awesomely handsome.

"Ahm ... gusto sana naming pumunta nang ng fashion show ni 'Rachelle' bukas." I said it nevously. Iwan ko kung nahalta niya. Yun na lang ang natanong ko. Iba sana ang itatanong ko but dahil sa parang na glue yung dila ko hindi naakonakapagtanong ng iba.

He just stared at me na parang natulala ito. Na iwan. Hindi naman nagulat ang reaction nito. "But .... tomorrow is our schedule for your gown to fit para sa prom.... " magbawi siya ng tingin, tumayo siya papuntang couch at nanood ng tv. Sinundan ko siya standing at the frame of the kitchen door, leaning.

"Pero we can do it in the morning. Gabi pa naman ang show. We still have time pa naman." Para akong bata na nagpapaalam sa ama na gustong gumimik.

"We? At kailan ka pa nahilig sa fashion show? Akala ko ba ayaw mo sa mga ganyang bagay.?"he said it still his attention is on the basketball game.

"Niyaya kasi ako ni Liza. And besides gusto ko rin namang maexperience yun." Umupo na ako sa tabi niya facing him but di pa rin siya tumitingin sa akin. Nanonood nga pero parang ang lalim naman ng iniisip. "Sasamahan ko lang si Liz., favorite niya kasi si 'Rachelle'.... ano ba yung surname niya .... ahmmm... " shocks di ko maalala.

"Serando" seryoso niyang sabi.

"Tama, Yun nga. Sorry nakalimutan ko.... "

Natawa siya, facing me. He look at me directly and said." Are you sure you want to go? Paano pag sinabi ko na, Rachelle is part of the past that ayoko nang balikan? And here you are leading me to her." He's  serious this time.

"But you can't run away with the past Rhyle unless you properly close the chapter of it. Aklat na kapag nag skip ka ng isa, dalawa o ilang pang pahina sa huli hindi mo maiintindihan ang buong kuwento. Mapapatanong ka? And it feels unsatisfying. Kailangan mong balikan ang pages na iyon at basahing muli para maliwanagan, para makompleto ang kuwento sa hinaharap." Ang mahaba kong sabi. Iwan ko kung saan nanggaling yun.

Tahimik lang siya. Hindi ko alam kung ano ang naglalaro sa isip ni Rhyle.

"I'm not leading you to her. It's just Liz and.... "

"Gusto mo siyang makita? "

"Yes? But I'm not jealous of her."

"I did not say that." he said.

Oh god... what hell...Iya calm down.

"Kaya ayokong pumunta ka doon because you're overthinking. I don't want you to be involve with her."

"But what about you? Now she's back, I mean....."hindi ko na naituloy ang sasabihin ko.

"As I said, she's part of my past na ayoko nang balikan o problemahin pa at ang gusto ko, you do the same." He said it firmly.

"But you can't avoid her, magkikita pa rin kayo. Iisang mundo ang ginagalawan nyo."

"I know, but it's not a problem to me. We're changed people now. I can handle her in case if that happened. You're my life now, you know that."

"Pero bakit ayaw mo akong pumunta sa show niya?"

Natawa ito. "Babe, is not that ayaw ko. My point is, ayokong mainvolve ka sa kanya dahil people around her and us knows we have a past. Hindi maiiwasang they will put isue on it, in us. They will try to compare you and try to complicate things. I dont want that to happen." He said worriedly." We're ok and I don't want to be bothered or you because of her."

"Paano pag gusto niyang makipagbalikan sayo?" Ang matapang kong tanong.

"Babe, wala na siyang babalikan. Of course we can be friends. " nilapit niya saakin ang mukha niya na anytime he can kiss me. Di ako makagalaw. "Why babe? Are you afraid?" He said teasingly. I can feel his breath on my face.

"O...of course not..." I rattled.

"Good." He motioned to kiss me. Iiwas pa sana me but his lips was already on mine. I easily gived in to Rhyles kiss. "Babe? Stop me." He said between his kisses.

"Mmm... ?" Nakakalasing na nakakainis...my tumatawag sa phone nya. I push him a little. Si JC, mabuti na lang at tumawag si JC kaya napilitan siyang sagutin yun.

"O great timing, bro." He blurted out to JC. I can see in his face the annoyance to JC. I can't help myself to laugh and he gave me an intent look. Lumabas siya ng veranda at doon nakipag usap kay JC. Pumunta ako ng kitchen at naghanda ng breakfast.

Katatapos ko lng mag set ng table at pumasok siya. "We'll watch the show tomorrow. JC, Liza, us and the rest of the group will be there. We are going to support Rachelle's comeback show. So prepare yourself, we're gonna be the 'apple of their eye'. "

Yeah right. This is fun. Honestly I'm nervous about it but as long as I have him on my side nothing to worry . Nagkatinginan na lang kami ni Rhyle na parehong malalim ang iniisip.
