"So.. feeling okay?" Danielle suddenly asks. I pull out my phone checking for any new notifications, there were some from YouTube but only YouTube. "Ohio?" She lowers her head in front of my phone.

"Huh? I thought you were asking Aries" I put my phone into my back pocket.

"She left for her class already. Again I ask: are you feeling okay?" She smiles awkwardly at me.

"Yea why wouldn't I be" I roll my eyes at her as we enter the gym.

"It's been three days since you've last seen Jasper. You seem wonky" now she's bringing out her awkward laugh.

"And there's only two more to go so I don't see what the big deal is. I can be without Jasper and be okay just like I was before I met him" I say as a matter of fact.

"So you spacing out and just sitting around all day is normal for you" she asks as we make our way over to the locker rooms.

"I can have my own fun without him ya know, I don't need him to be with me 24/7" I cross my arms over my chest.

"Then let's make a bet" she says in a sassy tone. I keep quiet causing a mischievous smile to slide onto her face, "don't call Jasper, don't text Jasper, don't even try and meet Jasper unless he makes the first move. Since he'll only be gone for two more days this should be very easy for you. When he's back we'll check your phone to determine the winner"

"What do I get out of this?" I grin at her.

"Whatever you want- anything within my limits that is" she shrugs.

"And you?"

"You have to convince little Ms. Not-So-Friendly-To-Everybody-Double-H" she says referring to Haile. "To switch morning partners with me so we can be partners instead" she grins back at me.

"What's your issue with her anyways" I let out a laugh at the name she gave her.

"She's too friendly with you and it's annoying. She's been especially friendly since she noticed Jasper hasn't been around this week" she rolls her eyes at the thought of it.

"She's friendly with everyone, she's the girl who serves drinks at parties so I'm pretty sure it comes naturally for her" I say in her defense. "Have you ever met a mean bartender" I ask jokingly.

"No but I have met a bitchy one in training" she says referring to Haile again before she storms off into the girls locker room.

A smile plays on my face as I enter the boy's locker room and walk over to my locker. I open it and pull my gym bag onto the floor. I take out my gym shirt then sit it in the locker before taking off the shirt I came in with.

"Hey!" I pull my shirt off my head quickly then turn around to see Henry standing there. I give him a questionable look causing him to shuffle in his place a bit, "how uhh... how are you?" I stand there giving him an even more puzzled look. "Well it's just I know Jasper has been go the past couple of days and I.. wanted to check on you"

"What do you gain from "checking on me", you do realize how weird that is right? I mean this isn't even including what happened last semester but we literally have not talked in I don't know how long and now you're "checking on me"" I cross my arms over my chest.

"I wanted to apologize for that actually.. that was a terrible thing for me to do and I would never do it again" he says quickly but not so loud that someone else could hear.

"Like hell I'd let it happen again" I snarl at him. "You're fucking sadistic you know that? You cared nothing about me back then and you sure as hell don't now so there's gotta be something you want from me. News flash: whatever it is, it's a no." I roll my eyes before pulling on my gym shirt.

"I don't want anything I just wanted to apologize and see how you were doing" he gets closer to the lockers so I could see him from the corner of my eye.

"Fuck up someone's mental state then come back later to see your handy work, what a guy" I say clearly being sarcastic. Just as he goes to say something else I cut him off, "look will you just leave me alone, I wanna get dressed for gym but you're making me uncomfortable so just go away"

The gay kid telling the straight kid he's making him feel uncomfortable in the locker room? That's new.

He stands there for a moment staring at the side of my face while I stare into the locker, refusing to look at him.

"Bye!" I snap causing him to jump a little before reluctantly leaving.

I let out an aggravated sigh as I finish getting dressed then shoving the rest of my stuff into the locker. I leave the locker room and look around for Haile. I catch her amongst the other groups laughing and talking. I make my way over to her, throwing on a smile so I don't ruin her mood.

"Hey Halie" I chime in to get her attention.

"Hey hey hey Oklahoma" she grins at me then turns to her friends. "I'll catch you guys later, come on" she waves to them as she links our arms and pulls me away from the group.

"Oklahoma?" I chuckle at what she called me.

"You are named after a state ya know" she giggles. "I'm just messing with you Ohio. How's it going" she let's go of me, stretching her arms out.

"It's going" I sigh with a smile. "How about you" I brighten up for her.

"Got invited to another party this weekend" she sticks her tongue out to the side. Just as I go to congratulate her on anther booked job she cuts me off, "Oh you should come with me. Since Jasper left you alone and all I figured you'd want to go out with someone" she starts fidgeting with her fingers.

He didn't leave me alone, he's just busy with his father right now.

"Of course I'll go with you" I give her a smile as I brush off what she said.

"It'll be so fun having someone with me while I serve drinks" she jumps onto me, wrapping her arms around my neck.
