"Zero days! Zero days! Zero days!" Aries chants as she walks us to our gym class.

"Actually he's got plans tomorrow so it's technically one more day" Danielle corrects her.

"But I thought Jasper said no more then a week come on now" she rolls her eyes at the news.

"Not Jasper, Ohio has plans so it's one more day" Danielle laughs at her.

"What" Aires says being all extra. "I don't think you have it in you to be apart from him another day" she squints her eyes at me.

"Pfft f course I do" I laugh it off earning a "really" look from the both of them.

"Anyways what plans did you make" Aries asks as we start nearing the gym doors.

"I got invited to a party" I shrug. "I may go and I may not"

"Now you know you gonna skip the party to go see Jasper stop playing" she hits my arm. "I'll see you guys at lunch" she kisses Danielle then runs off back towards her class.

"Okay Mr. Popular" Danielle says congratulating me. "So who invited you?"

"Halie Hail" I mumble already knowing what she's gonna say. "And before you say anything-"

"No I'm gonna say something!" She cuts me off. "I know you know she likes you. All that touching up on you and inviting you to have lunch with her friends and now a party? I mean can she be any more obvious" she throws her arms in the air. "And look at her now waiting for you by the boy's locker room" she points towards the locker rooms and sure enough Haile was standing there.

"Stop pointing it's rude" I force her arm down to her side. "She could be waiting for someone else" I let out a sigh.

"Oh yea she's waiting for someone else as she walks over to us waving at you" Danielle crosses her arms over her chest. "I don't have time for her fake personality, I'll catch you after gym" she walks past her, ignoring Haile's greeting.

"Hey Oregon, we still on for tomorrow?" She takes Danielle's place by my side and begins walking with me.

"Wrong state" I say causing us both to grin. "And yea I'm still on for tomorrow"

"Great so I'll pick you up at what time?" She asks.

"Actually I can just go to your house after school and we leave from there or my dad can take me" I lie.

My dad wouldn't take me to a party alone actually. I'd have to lie and say I'm going to Danielle's and just walk there and walk home. And he sure as hell wouldn't let me get into some unknown car.

"You can come home with me" she looks away, smiling at the ground.

"Cool I'll see you after school then" I say before entering the locker room.

"So basically you want me to lie about where you're going this afternoon, hope one of Danielle's moms can bring you some clothes, and sleep over at Danielle's house by myself tonight?" Aries sums up what I said as we stand by the doors of the school.

"I wasn't thinking when I told her I'd go home with her" I groan as I throw myself onto my sister. "I forgot there wasn't school tomorrow so I basically suggested I sleep over at her house and didn't know"

"So what am I going to tell him when November, Danielle, and I are the only ones in the back seat? You went to her house early?" She says sarcastically.

"Yea tell him that I have clothes at her house already so I just walked there" I say stupidly.

"Whatever" she starts walking towards our sister and Danielle. "Oh yea what kind of clothes did you want me to bring for you" she turns around.

"My clothes.. that's kind of a no brainer" I laugh awkwardly.

"Bitch do you want your new clothes or some more dull clothes like the ones you've wearing right now" she points to my outfit consisting of my "boy clothes"

"No do not pack my new clothes- or Jasper's hoodie" I say quickly.

"Why not Jasper's hoodie?" She asks genuinely confused because I usually wear it whenever I'm home or at Danielle's house.

"I just don't want it getting messed up or lost.." I shrug.

You know how when you go on vacation for a while and once you get home you get a feeling like: I loved the vacation but I'm glad I'm home. I want that for when I get home after the party. I don't want it to get "accidentally" messed up or "lost" while I'm at Haile's house.

Not that I believe she'd do something like that but Danielle mentioned that to me at lunch, which only made me paranoid. She said because Haile likes me, she doesn't, she's gonna mess it up if she finds out it's Jasper's. And if she just sees it as another one of my hoodies she's gonna hide it and pretend it's lost then wear it to school. I told her neither of those things would happen but now I can't take any chances.

"If you say so" she shrugs then turns around. "See ya later" she yells out, waving to me without turning around, as she makes her way to November and Danielle.

I let out a sigh as I look around the parking lot for Haile. Or at least a group of people hanging around a car. My eye catches a couple of groups but not the right ones. I turn back into the school and wait near the lockers, watching the lingering students leave the classrooms. I finally see her running down the stairs and over to the lockers. As soon as our eyes lock her face brightens up.

"Sorry for being late, I had to finish up a test" she says panting as she opens her locker and shoved her things in. "I honestly thought you'd go home by now and just meet up with me tomorrow" she laughs.

"Nah it's okay, my sister already said she's being my clothes by so we can get going whenever" I smile at her.

"Alright I'm ready" she locks hands with me and pulls me out of the school without another word.

Im not saying I believe what Danielle told me but this hand holding is making me feel a bit uncomfy.
