As the sun set on the academy secret grounds, the handsome boy Rooks stood nervously in front of his seatmate Xylma. He had spent months working on his physical fitness and building up his charisma, all in the hopes of making himself worthy of Xylma's love.
It had been months since Rooks transformed from a sweaty pig into one of the most attractive students on campus. While he was still in love with his fiancee Princess Mariel of Alkatross Kingdom, he found himself falling for Xylma more and more each day.
"Xylma," he began, his voice shaking slightly. "I know we've been seatmates for a long time, and I just wanted to let you know how much you mean to me. I've fallen in love with you, and I was wondering if you would do me the honor of becoming my girlfriend?"
Xylma looked at Rooks, her eyes searching his face.
'Does he know he has fiancee?'
She had always felt a strong connection to him as colleague when it comes to academics, but she had never considered the possibility of a romantic relationship. The truth was, Xylma didn't have any romantic feelings towards Rooks. But as an undercover agent working under President Luna, she had a mission to complete and couldn't risk revealing her true identity.
After a moment of thought about pros and cons disregarding her feelings, Xylma forced a smile and nodded. "Yes, Rooks," she said, trying to keep her voice steady. "I would love to be your girlfriend."
Rooks let out a sigh of relief, his face breaking into a broad smile. He reached out and took Xylma's hand, pulling her close and kissing her softly on the lips.
As they stood there, wrapped up in each other's arms, Xylma couldn't help but feel guilty and she knew one particular instructor watching them from afar.
"Why Ms. President allows this?"
She knew that she was leading Rooks on and that she couldn't give him the love and affection that he deserved. But she had a job to do, and she couldn't let her personal feelings get in the way. She just hoped that she could complete her mission and find a way to let Rooks down gently when the time came.
However, it was going to be different.Year 5960 Helgium Royal Academy.
"Now then, since you were not officially an agent of us, you may as well know that the AFP has finally eradicated those terrorists. This good news will be broadcast throughout my country later on," President Luna said to Xylma as they walked through a garden patch.
"As expected from you, Ms. President. The AFP and the tripartite generals are truly awesome," Xylma replied.
"Don't forget the entire military personnel, little Xylma," Luna added.
The two women continued their private discussion in Tagalog as they walked through the garden. Xylma suddenly stopped and became serious when she was assured that they were alone.
"Professor Luna... I... I didn't expect someone powerful enough to reconfigure my magic circles on hidden areas..." Xylma said, clearly troubled.
"He's pretty dangerous, wasn't he, Xylma?" Luna asked, a seasoned veteran at analyzing a person's capabilities, including their ability in magecraft and sorcery. She was more than a little unnerved by this realization.
Xylma had been shocked when she accidentally broke the magic sculpture in the headmaster's parlor, but that paled in comparison to the shock she felt now.
"I haven't obtained the files on the students and graduates of the academy yet. I want a long-term solution, but..." Xylma trailed off.
Professor Luna nodded and placed her right hand on Xylma's shoulder. "Maybe I should make a run for it. Xylma, contact me if necessary," she said.
