Still not reaching the half of the day, Jisung is already rolled half-asleep on the corner of the covered court.
The huge basketball space is empty; light footsteps could instantly be heard if there were any.
His usual black backpack serves as a pillow, an arm covering his eyes as the other settled loose on his torso. His right leg propped up as the left was hovering on it.
It was a peaceful moment, with the pure alpha taking advantage of having classes in the afternoon. He was still arriving in the morning because he was too bored to stay alone in the house.
Maybe he was really dozing off, or the newcomer is just really stealthy enough for him to not sense the sudden presence.
"Skipping classes?"
"WHAT THE FUCK!" jolting up, his voice bounced through as it echoed, his eyes finding the culprit.
"What the fuck are you doing here?"
"Nice to see you too, hottie." Chohee giggled, settling herself a half-meter away from him.
Jisung watched her every move in judgment, then groaned as he felt a string of dizziness from sitting up ever so fast. He then plopped back on his bag.
"Do you want something?" he deadpanned.
"Hmmm, are you in the options?"
The pure blood face her in a glare. "Seriously, what do you want from me?"
"I really don't know," she shrugged. "You? Why are you here?"
"I should be the one to ask you that. Why are you here?" he then paused and gasped. "Are you stalking me?"
Chohee snorted, "Chill, but do you want it to be?"
"Weird shit," he lowly muttered while turning his gaze to the ceiling. "You can go now."
"Aw rejecting me so early."
It made the pure alpha sit up again, fully facing her with a scowl.
"Can you not test my patience?"
"Can you not be a hot target?" she smirked when his jaw dropped, then flipped her hair, "I know I'm pretty enough to be stared at."
"You're a beta," Jisung grumbled. "Otherwise, you'll be feeling how annoyed I am right now."
"Oh! I'm Chohee. Seo Chohee!" the beta beamed, ignoring his previous statement.
Stopping himself from bantering, his mind ran wild with the familiar surname. Sure, there's a big range of SEO's. But there's something about this girl that he finds awkwardly comfortable.
It was an unexpected judgment, but he did feel a little twinge when she introduced herself.
"Okay? Now go?"
"Pfft, please, you're too good at pushing people away." She stood up with a grunt, not before she clutched a device in her grip. "Also, if you're bored and want to be in trouble, just call me."
Not really taking her words seriously, he just mindlessly looked at her, yet his eyes widen after seeing his phone on her hold.
When did she even—
"Chohee! Saved with two yellow hearts, don't erase it, you hottie." Handing the device back, he grabbed it in an aggressive manner.
"Are you a thief?"
"That stole your heart? Aww, Jisungieeeee!" she squeaked, patting the male's head, to which he responded with a glare.
"Do you even study here?"
"Homeschooled, usually during the summer. I just have a free pass, perks of being Seo Yoobin's daughter."
Jisung's breath hitched. He stared at the smiling girl in complete disbelief.
Because why does it have to be his math teacher? That one subject he immensely hates?
"Oh, and that night..." she teased, "don't worry, I won't tell anyone."
The pure alpha's face immediately burned, which urged the beta to do more.
So she crouched down, inching close to his ear. "It was a very good time."
"SEO CHOHEE!" he exclaimed, backing away as the girl burst into laughter.
"Call me if you wanna do it again. Cherry High. Same spot, same stool."
"I FUCKING SWEAR—"
"Oops, gotta run! Bye, hottie!" she ran, laughter echoing in his ears.
Jisung messed his hair in frustration, his eyes locking on the girl who's skipping away like she won the lottery or something.
Fully not in the mood, he laid again. Hands rubbing his face as he exasperatedly sighs.
So much for a peaceful day, he groaned.
But how did she even know my name?
