Park Jisung is absent—an expected fact.

Rua thought that this was the happiest day of the 2-month retake classes. No Park Jisung means no Seo Chohee, and considering what happened yesterday, no Park Jisung means far from trouble.

Who knows what would happen if the pure alpha suddenly showed up? The omega can just feel goosebumps running through her skin when she imagines what he would do.

The problem is that she was too preoccupied with her own victory to be aware of her surroundings.

It was quarter to 12 when she got out of the cubicle, ready to ramp her way to the cafeteria for lunch, when she was suddenly pushed back to the tiled wall, painfully hitting the back of her head.

Rua let out a painful whimper, fluttering her eyes open just to see a familiar face smirking in front of her.

"Hi, I'm Hwang Yeji. I just wanted to ask if you can be my friend."

Rua felt a rush of goosebumps when the ravenette spoke with a certain dark smile on her face.

It was thrilling. Her eyes were heavily narrowed, and she felt that she'd suddenly been pulled into a horror massacre movie.

Though Rua recognized her as one of the twins, Chohee was always with her.

"Oh, cat got your tongue?" Yeji pouted and trailed her index finger to the omega's cheek, her other hand settling loose on her neck.

Rua felt her body lightly trembling when she felt the ravenette's nail slowly digging on her skin, now wincing when it really scratched.

"Oops, I didn't really mean to." Yeji laughed as she watched how the omega's eyes widened when she showed a drop of blood on her finger. "What now, dearie? Is it painful? I think not."

"W-what do you think you're doing!?" Rua yelled in force, though she could clearly feel the stinging on the opened wound on her cheek.

"What am I doing? Ah! Is this considered bullying, no?" the beta only pushed the omega again on the wall, gritting her teeth. "I call this a hobby. What do you think, Rua? Would you like to be my friend?"

Rua only looked away from the beta's sickening smile, used enough force to push her, and ran away.

Yeji looked back with an amused smile, letting the troubled omega sprint out the door.

Though it was too early to think about her freedom, she suddenly tripped on someone's foot, causing her body to stumble forward and meet the hard, cemented ground.

Again, Rua winced when she felt a fresh scratch on her knee, and a stray tear coincidentally dropped on her cheek wound, making her wince again.

Sensing someone in the area, Rua snapped in the direction, seeing another familiar face of a male.

He's only standing there, looking down at her with the most devilish grin he can muster.
