If Jisung just had the power to choose how his days went, he would choose to laze in his room with unlimited food, games, and sleep.
The first four days of his summer classes just always started with new lessons and review quizzes, and then after that will be the unsurprising meeting with the female beta. Even if he closes his eyes in the evening, he will know how tomorrow will go.
Luckily for him, he only got to take classes for four days, and he's free for three days.
The unlucky thing, though, is the information he gave his dad about Seo Yoobin.
Now, his dear man is there in his room, blasting the I Feel Good song that had him jolting awake by that one loud, annoying intro.
"Hurry up, Ji; we shouldn't let the good friend wait."
"Just what are you planning to do?" Jisung grumbled, sitting up with his eyes closed and hair sticking anywhere.
"Lunch with the Seos."
"Good Pearl," he groaned, wiggling back under his sheets.
The man sighed, slapping his son's butt, had the younger flinch, and peeked out with furrowed brows.
"That's just foul, dad."
"As if you haven't slapped an ass before."
"I DIDN'T!"
"Yeah, for a pure alpha."
"PURE ALPHAS AREN'T ALL NASTIES," he groaned in defeat, sitting up again with his tight, sleepy eyes glaring at his father. "You go; you're his only friend."
"He's friends with your mother too, and what do we have? A family meeting!"
"But dad, it's embarrassing! I just failed in Mr. Seo's class, who happened to be your best buddy."
"Best gambling buddy."
"Best whatever! But no, I'll pass."
"Sorry, this family doesn't take no as an answer."
"Oh wow, so even if I tell you I marry at 20, you'll say yes!?"
"Glad to have little chicks around." Myung just shrugged, leaving the room with a teasing wink.
Jisung just laid flat on his back, eyes bore on his plain beige ceiling, which kind of reminds him of THE Beta's shirt from the first time they met in front of Tantiana.
For some reason, Jisung also smacked his head for remembering it. For what, anyway? To remind himself that he won't ever retake a single class again.
But in some parts, he's curious.
Why did Seo Chohee drop out of school and start homeschooling? And why did she suddenly attend one now? And why the hell is he so curious?
