The light intensified to the point of blinding her eyes, just as the wind grew stronger and overwhelming. Everything happened at the same time, the silence became so unbearable that the ringing in her ear hurt. The wind disappeared leaving only the cool weather of a cloudy day. Opening her eyes slowly, she was surprised to find that she wasn't lying on her bed as she had just a few minutes before being sucked into that bright light. Contrary to what she thought, her bare feet were touching a green lawn that stretched along the field she was on. The sky was not blue, but a mixture of vivid colors as if on the canvas of a passionate painter. On the horizon there was only the lawn and some trees in the distance.
"Where am I?" She asked herself confused and held up her hands to make sure she was in one piece, and to her surprise there were no more wrinkles.
It's as if... As if her 19-year-old white skin is back, without the marks of a long life.
Needing to see with her own eyes the change of joviality, she hurried towards the lake. Her body much more willing and energetic, she could jump and run at the same time if she wanted to, because that was the best feeling in the world. Feeling light, without the aches in her body she had been feeling for the past few months.
(Play song: Lana Del Rey - Bel Air)
Gargoyles standing at the front of your gate
To tell me to wait but I can't wait to see you
So I run like a mad to heaven's door
I don't wanna be bad I won't cheat you no more
The woman's smile, now young, and not dead, looking up at the lake that was nearby, she noticed that she was not alone in that field. The glare of the sun blocked her view of the person's face who was kneeling at the edge of the lake, but the Thai girl could see that it was a girl. And, incredibly, the closer she got to the figure in the lake, the more the vibration in her body increased as if she knew that girl from long time.
"Hey you!" She called anxiously when she was close enough, but when the girl stood up and the red bow on her head came into focus, everything seemed to make sense.
Roses, Bel Air, take me there
I've been waiting to meet you
Palm trees in the light, I can see late at night
Darling, I'm waiting to greet you
Come to me, baby
Chaeyoung turned around with a wide smile as she childishly bit her lower lip. She wore denim shorts. The same 18-year-old Chaeyoung that Lisa fell in love with.
"Hey you." the girl reciprocated and a delicious laugh escaped her throat. "I've been waiting for your arrival."
Spotlight, Bad Baby
You've got a flair
For the violentest kind of love anywhere out there
Mon amour, sweet child of mine, you're divine
Didn't anyone ever tell you it's ok to shine?
Lisa wanted to cry, but there were no tears to shed. She thought her heart might leap out of her chest, but the organ was no longer there. The Thai tentatively reached out her hand until it touched Chaeyoung's skin, the soft texture making Lisa smile.
"How is this possible?" She asked in a whisper, afraid that if she said it too loud, she might wake up from whatever she was experiencing. "Am I dreaming?"
