Lisa was bored for the first time in criminal law class. It was not very common for her to have her head tilted under her right hand, tapping her fingers lightly on the chair with her eyes focused above the slate where the clock was. It was true that her thoughts were in another institution, someone else whose brown eyes were wonderfully perfect. God, and that laugh that sounded more like the chords of angels? Not that she had ever seen an angel play, but she knew it would resemble Park Chaeyoung.

"Lisa?" Megan whispered just behind her desk taking her out of her world where several treble clefts surrounded her symbolizing her newest admiration. "Do you want to go out with the girls today?"

Megan was of medium height and eyes in a blue tint like the sea, her hair was long and black up to the middle of her waist. She was one of her friends in Columbia along with Louis and Becky who had joined the second semester. Somi couldn't stand their presence simply because they ignored her, even though her excuse was that they stank of marijuana.

"I can't today. I promised Somi that I would take her to the movies." She replied in a whisper.

Megan made a disgruntled exclamation and slapped Lisa's head playfully. She hadn't left as a group since the day she saw Chaeyoung play for the first time, because she spent all her free time in Juilliard. For example, today, that in less than half an hour she would leave Columbia only to meet the girl again.

She took her cell phone out of her pocket and sent a message Somi, who was on the opposite side of the room asking what time she could pick her up at her boyfriend's house, her plan was to go straight from Juilliard to Liam's house and from there they would go to the cinema.

Somsomi: Around eight-thirty.

Perfect! I could spend more time with Jennie, Jisoo and maybe Chaeyoung. As soon as she had her schedule, Lisa collected her things and ran to the dorm to change her clothes, remembering it was Friday; she needed to call her parents or they would send the FBI after her.

"You know, you've been very busy these past few days." it was Megan again as she passed down the hallway, this time she was accompanied by Louis.

"I've been busy with the internship, Megan." She explained hiding her real reason for leaving. "When I'm not in Juilliard, I'm in the dorm, finishing the process."

Louis let out an ironic laugh. He was the most convinced of the class and also the richest, Lisa wondered if she knew that it was no longer a secret to anyone that his thin beard, his dark brown hair tossed aside and full of hair, denounced that he liked men.

"Juilliard, Lisa?" He asked, still laughing and with a mocking grimace. "That place is a joke, full of hippies dreaming big."

Lisa's jaw dropped. That kind of comment could only be a joke, Louis looked a lot like her father now, she could even visualize him saying the same sentence.

"I don't think they're hippies, are they?" Asked Megan curiously, making Lisa roll her eyes.

"They're not hippies, they're just ..." happy. She wanted to say, but waited for the comment to come. "Light."

Megan looked at her curiously and Louis frowned still with his mocking face.

"Be careful not to let your head get infected with the music that touches the soul." Louis laughed gesturing with his hands and making Megan and even Lisa laugh a little. They were her friends after all. "See you later, then."

And with a nod, they cleared the way for the Thai who headed towards her car.

On the other side of the city was Chaeyoung concentrated, trying her best to put the musical Fifth Tritone on paper. She was horrible at this, her real gift was with instruments, not writing harmonic fields, scales and arpeggios even though her dream would one day have her own rhapsody, something like Johannes Brahms. Jennie, who was sitting next to her, kept smiling like an idiot and sending messages that Chaeyoung knew was for Jisoo. Of course, during the break Jennie would ask for all of her notes and as a good friend she was, she would even give up in spite of herself. But this time Jennie would be cornered and Jisoo could not save her girlfriend from the clutches of Chaeyoung who was willing to know if she had a finger in the small meeting with Lalisa Manoban in the auditorium.
