The month went by unbearably slow. Whenever possible, Lisa sneaked into the music department looking for the girl with the red bow. Since her last conversation with Jennie and Jisoo, Lisa has always found a way to cut the subject, even if Jennie insisted on asking about her frustrated hunt for the girl. The frustration was great, she knew she was acting crazy all these days risking getting caught when she wasn't on the job, but she insisted on showing up at Juilliard after school in Columbia. Somi also insisted that something was happening to Lisa and as much as she denied it, the Thai girl knew that deep down her friend was right. Lisa was never the same after that day.
"We will do it!" Jisoo said, helping herself to a piece of Lisa's lasagna.
"Can't we wait a little longer?" Whined Jennie pouting at her girlfriend and then looking pleadingly at Lisa. "Please, Lisa. You need to convince her!"
The couple argued about whether or not to tell Jisoo's parents about the secret courtship. Of course, Jennie was totally insecure, afraid of rejection since she was raised by a religious family. Jennie's father was the type of person who didn't care about someone being homosexual unless that someone was from his family, and Lisa understood her friend's side well, as she lived the same drama at home.
"My parents are different. I think my dad will be a little disappointed at first, but he always says he loves me above any choice of mine." Jisoo reassured her by tapping childishly with her index finger on Jennie's nose.
Jennie snorted and filled her mouth with lasagna as she dodged her girlfriend's caresses.
"You are very cute to watch, even if I feel like a third." Lisa emphasized with a smile on her face. She liked to spend her free time with the girls, she hadn't chatted at a table with friends in a long time, because although Somi was her friend, she didn't stop at the dorm and when she came back, she wasn't sober enough to talk.
She took a sip of her soda and looked over Jennie's shoulder, across the cafeteria, where a red-haired girl - and she could have sworn she saw this girl somewhere - was looking at her with a smile on her face. Lisa looked away awkwardly and wondered if that girl was flirting with her.
Jisoo cleared her throat loudly, taking Lisa out of her thoughts and the Thai saw that the couple had followed her gaze to the red-haired girl.
"So ... Lisa!" Jennie's ironic voice came back. Lisa was sure it would be left for her as it always did when the matter was over. "How is your search for the girl with the red bow?"
The Thai girl snorted. She leaned back in disappointment, risking looking again at the redhead who was still staring.
"A failure, if you really want to know." She admitted, tapping her fingers on the table anxiously. "Every day after the internship I enter room 208 and wait at least half an hour, but no one ever enters, and that is frustrating."
Jennie stood still like a statue analyzing Lisa, even Jisoo thought the reaction of her girlfriend to close her eyes at the Thai girl was strange.
"Did I say something?" She asked, concerned with Jennie's expression.
Jisoo shrugged and motioned with her index finger next to her temple to indicate that her girlfriend might have gone crazy.
"You really liked her, didn't you?" it was another statement from Jennie that took Lisa by surprise. "You've been looking for someone who hasn't even seen the face for more than a month, Lisa. I see you here even when you're not working, which means you really liked this girl.
