KP's POV

It hurt to see her break down. I wanted to run up to her and give her a hug. Instead, I just walked out of her office. I could not bring myself to welcome her with open arms. I felt like I could try to get her, but...

I took in a deep breath before checking my phone. A tiny blush crept up to my cheeks.

Walter: Sup baby doll

I was still puzzled by the way things were between us. I mean like, I think I sort of liked him.

Me: hey

Walter: wanna hang out?

It took me a minute or two to digest it.

Me: Shouldn't you be with Lucinda? Your girlfriend? Please don't contact me anymore.

I replied and placed my phone back in my handbag. Don't get me wrong, Walter was hot. He reeked of dominance and I loved it, but he wasn't mine. I wasn't about to do what Lucinda did to me. That would be stooping to her level. I sighed, I guess I should go see Lucrecia. I miss her. Just to my luck, right outside Uncanny's building parked my aunt. I quickly walked up to her car. Her car window was rolled down. "Hey, auntie."

She slowly removed her earbuds. Giving me a warm smile. "Uhm, hi, Kamilah." She replied nervously. I cleared my throat, walking over to the passenger side and climbed in her sleek jeep. "I know things are awkward. That doesn't mean I hate you, auntie. I get it. Headmistress Duke explained it to me."

She gave me a puzzled look. "Explained?"
"The reason you can't stand Uncanny." Heat rose to her cheeks. Her knuckles turning white on the steering wheel. I gently placed my hand over hers. The gesture stunned her. Leaving her mouth slightly ajar. "It's okay." I drew my hand back. "So, where are you off to?" I asked, putting my seatbelt on.

She gave me a nervous laughter. "To see Michael." Oh. My mood suddenly fell. "What's wrong?"
Heaving a sigh, I zeroed in on the scenery infront of me. "I'm hurt. I don't know whether to stay mad at him or forgive him."

"Michael loves you Kamilah. He would do anything for you. It just that he had to be a hero in Uncanny's story somehow." She brushed my hair back in comfort. "If you're not yet ready, I can drop you home."

"No, it's okay. My friend is in the same hospital so..." she nodded. "By the way, Amandla wants to go home." She added. "Why? Wait. Amandla is Uncanny's sibling! She'll tell me what I need to know." Aunt Veronica just shrugged as she drove to the hospital whereas I was beaming with joy. I hated this place with a passion. I've been here before. Not just about daddy's first incident. I could feel it within. Like a latent...

"We're here!" Auntie chirped. Pulling me out from my train of thought. We got out of the jeep and headed to the reception. We got the wards in which we respectably wanted and said our goodbyes. Here I come Lucrecia. I walked to where she had being staying. Surprisingly, Walter was there too. I saw him through the glass window, giving her a bunch of flowers.
Seeing him next to Lucrecia made my blood boil. No, Kamilah. We can't be getting worked up over stupid things. Calm down. I took in a deep breath before plastering the biggest smile I could master. I opened the door and both of them gazed at me.

Walter walked over to me, "You take my breath away each time I see you." He whispered. Lucrecia gave me a knowing look. I rolled my eyes and walked past Walter towards her. "Well took you long enough." She greeted. I gave her a duh look. "How are you? How's the baby?" As if on instinct, Lucrecia's hands rested on her belly. A smile forming on her face. "She's okay."
"She?" Lucrecia nodded.

"I hope it's a she. A baby girl. Daddy would go berserk if that came to be. He'd have two girls to take care of."

No rocket scientist was needed to determine the excitement and happiness that she had. It was contagious. "Will I be her godmother?" Lucrecia's face beamed. "OF COURSE!" We both giggled. Walter cleared his throat in discomfort. I totally forgot his existence. I glanced over to him. "Can we talk outside?" He asked. Lucrecia gave me the knowing look. I glared at her. "Go on. I'll be here" she grinned, literally pushing me off her bed. I sighed in defeat. Walter leading me out.

We stood at a blind spot, away from Lucrecia's ward. Honestly, I felt nervous. "Why are you ignoring me?" He asked, leaning on a nearby wall. I swallowed hard. Folding my arms together. "I don't know what you're talking about." I tried acting smart.
He's cold eyes bore into mine. His jaw tensed. A few veins popped on his arms. I hadn't had the chance to fully study his body. Now that I was staring at him, I felt flustered. He saw me staring. He took calculated steps towards me, forcing me to be backed up against the wall.

Heavily breathing.

With sweaty palms.

An unsteady heart.

And really getting uncomfortable down there.

My lips parted slowly. He caged me in. His hands on either side of me. His face inches away from mine. I involuntarily licked my lips. He slowly leaned in and I turned my head to the side. Avoiding his daring eyes, his nose brushed against the side of my neck. Making me gasp. "This skirt is giving me a hard on." He breathed in on my skin. Sending shivers down my spine. He placed a lingering kiss on my neck. "I want you." He whispered. "I want to set your body on fire. Break your limits and unleash the submissive side of you."

I swallowed. "Isn't submission earned?"
He grunted. Lightly biting on my ear. I groaned. He pressed his body on mine. My mouth hung open when I felt his boner on my thigh. Chuckling, "Still think I need to earn it?" I pushed him away, stepping to the side. "What about Lucinda? Don't you love her?" I asked, my back towards him. His fingers found their way in my hair. Playing with the tangles, I slowly closed my eyes, feeling at ease. My eyes shot open when he yanked my hair back. Forcing my back to hit his front. He didn't loosen his grip.

My head tilted backwards. Making room for his other hand to lightly hold my neck. By this time, I had lost all my morals. I was turned on. "You're mine Kamilah. Lucinda has nothing on you." Right there and then he ravished my neck, he covered my mouth to stiffle the uncontrollable moans that escaped my lips. I became a moaning mess. Feeling this way should be illegal.

A few moments later he let go. Turned me around and winked. We parted ways and I went back to Lucrecia. "Damn, how long was it?"
"Huh?"
"Don't you huh me. Your hair is a mess. How long were you at it?" She grinned. "Shut up!" I avoided her question. "You like him don't you?" She asked, patting on her bed. I sighed and sat next to her. "Yes, but he and Angelo are cousins..."
She rolled her eyes. "Yeah, and the man I love was married to my mom. That's a minor technicality. If you like him, go for it you deserve to be happy." I smiled. I rushed to the door. "See you later! Love you!" I called out. I went to where my dad was at. I entered his ward and found him all lovey dovey with Uncanny.

He smiled when he saw me. Uncanny excused herself, which I was happy for. "Daddy I'm sorry. For everything. You mean the whole galaxy to me, you didn't deserve this." I cried. "It's okay, princess." He shushed me. "Are we okay?" Nodding vigorously, I flew in to give him a bear hug. Completely forgetting his injuries. I loved my dad and no one can ever replace him. No matter what, I know he's always there.

Later that day...

Aunt Veronica and I got back home. Amandla's bags were already packed. "Uhm, can we talk?" She nodded. We went to the lounge. "What's up?"
"I wanna know more about where...I mean my roots. My grandparents," Amandla shifted uncomfortably. "That has to be Uncanny doing that. I don't want to fight with her, she's my sister." I nodded in understanding. "Well, could you stay a little longer?" She sighed. "Sorry sweetie. I want to go back home. I miss my parents. Talk to Uncanny." She advised. She gave me a hug before she left.

I pleaded with Aunt Veronica with my eyes. She raised her hands in surrender. "Nah-uhh! Don't look at me. She's your mom."
