POV: Agent Benjamin Ripley

I leaned on the wall and relaxed on it. I was thinking about the party. It didn't go as planned. But, then again, nothing goes as planned if you're a spy.

I heard the bell ring. It was time for the explosives class. I followed my classmates to the classroom and looked for my seat. Once I did, I sat down and fidgeted with my hands. We waited for the professor.

After 3 minutes, the professor stumbled in with a box.

We stared at it in confusion. Then the professor set the box down and sat in his desk.

"Alright, so you're probably wondering, what's in that box?" he pointed to it.

We all nodded.

"Well, that box is filled with a variety of bombs," He explained. We all tensed up, "Test bomb, to be exact," We sighed with relief.

"So, today, we will be testing you on bomb defusion," The professor said, "So, ah! Agent Ronald! Why don't you go up first?"

Ronald nodded and walked up to the professor for the test.

It was now my turn.

I walked up to the professor and he nodded. He reached into a box and pulled out a silver suitcase. Then he guided my to his desk and told me to open the suitcase. I did so.

A device was stored in, a timer was connected to a series of wires, red, green, yellow, blue. which were also connected to the trigger.

I sighed and picked up the wire cutter. I looked at the bomb and hesitantly chose a wire. I couldn't decide.

I felt sweat slide down my sideburn. I wiped it. I looked at the wire and checked to where they connect.

Green went to the timer, blue went to a part that looked like it controls the timer, yellow went to a part I didn't know, which led to red, being connected with the trigger.

I decided to choose red.

Then I felt my phone buzz in my pocket. I put the cutters down and peeked at my phone. There was a text from Erica.

It said, "Meet us in the principals office ASAP."

The professor startled me, "Ripley, please, continue the test."

I nodded and took a deep breath. Then I cut the red wire. The bomb then whirred and released gas, indicating that it exploded.

I sighed in defeat. Why didn't I think of that? Stop the timer! The professor shook his head. I raised my hand, "Well, now that I'm done, can I go to the bathroom for a second?"

I pulled in the same trick.

The professor slowly nodded his head. Then he proceeded to pick out another student.

I pushed through the door and ran to the principal's office.

I heard a student laugh, Ooh! Did Benjamin get in trouble?"

"Maybe," I said as I opened the door of the principal's office.

The principal, Cyrus, Erica, Alexander, Mike, and Zoe were here now.

"Okay, uh, you called me here?" I waved.

The principal nodded, "Yeah, we're here to talk about a mission for you."

"Really? Another?" I looked at him in shock.

Cyrus toughened his glare, "What do you think? Last mission was a failure. So, we're activating you for another mission."

I groaned, but nodded in understandment.

Cyrus nodded and pushed the principal out of his seat. He fell to the floor, "Hey!"

I heard Mike snicker.

Cyrus typed in a few keys and then flipped the screen to me, "For this mission, you will be going to be a double agent for the Richard Weston Physics Academy. You need to get as much information, and try your best not to get caught this time," He said, "You are going to be recruited as Max Ricotta, 15. Erica, you're Bella Vonsakd, 17. Mike, Jason Turner, 16. Zoe your Wendy Forman, 15. Remember those."

He handed me, Erica, Mike, and Zoe our files. I opened mine and it showed my picture, my undercover name, age, and talents.

"Make sure you memorize those," Alexander said, "We're leaving at 0800 hours in the morning. And with that, make sure you remember those," Then he gestured to Cyrus if we could go.

Cyrus nodded.

We walked out the door and I saw that my class was leaving from the bomb test. I did my best to stay away from them.

Erica leaned in, "So, how was your bomb test?"

I wanted to ask her about how she knew, but it was pretty obvious.

"Uh, well...not good," I replied.

Erica just smiled, "You didn't stop the timer, did you?"

"No, but I thought you couldn't do that for all bombs," I said.

"Well, if you don't which wire to cut, cut them all," She was referring to when we were trying to defuse a bomb in Vail. That also reminded me of the first day we kissed.

I blushed at that thought.

"Well, you better start memorizing your files, we leave tomorrow so," Erica hesitated at something. Then she gave me a little kiss on the cheek and walked off into her dorm room.

I froze like a statue the whole time, turning red each second. Mike and Zoe walked to me.

"I saw that," Mike said in a sing-song voice, "Looks like the Ice Queen likes you," He and Zoe laughed.

"S-Shut up!" I said, turning even more red.

"Okay," Zoe said, "Anyway, see you later for the mission. Remember you're files!" She walked to her room.

"I will," I replied back.

Then, I looked at Erica's room, thinking about her. Did Erica really do that? Did she like me?
