I relaxed on my bed and thought about Murray. I wondered if he will survive, he might as well sign up for ATP now.

While I was thinking about Murray, a text message came in. My phone buzzed and a notification popped up.

I shook myself out of my thoughts and picked up my phone. I checked it. It was a notification from Erica. As usual, we were going to investigate.

I got up, rubbed my forehead. Then I walked to my door and opened it. I stepped outside and texted Erica back, "Where do I meet u?"

I waited for a bit. Then a text popped up, "Cafeteria."

I put my phone in my pocket and headed for the designated location. I met Zoe and Mike along the way.

Once we got to Erica, she told that we can't look at the principal's office since he's still in there. So we have to look some place else for any information. The best bet was the employees section

So we decided to walk there. When we got there, we opened the door, climbed down the stairs and decided to look even further here.

I checked around the safe room. All there was is a bunch of junk, like boxes, janitor equipment, old tablets, empty bullets, and empty magazines for guns.

I searched through the rubble.

"Ugh! There's nothing here!" Zoe exclaimed in annoyance.

I leaned against the wall, "Why would the employee section only be for the safe room? There has to be more than this."

"I agree," Erica said, "We can't give up, come on, let's go."

Zoe groaned.

So we continued the search. I double checked everything I ruffled through. But I groaned in disappointment when I still found nothing.

Then I leaned on the wall again, but I slipped a little and hit a broomstick. It turned right and the bucket of water the broomstick was in sank into the floor, then a door appeared. It appeared to be an elevator. It also illuminated orangish-yellow.

Zoe, Mike, and I stared at it. Erica just walked in.

When she saw us standing there, she said, "So, are you guys going to stand there or what?"

"Right," Mike said and we walked in the elevator.

The doors closed and I felt the elevator jerk downward. Then the elevator smoothly glided down. When it slowed down and stopped, the doors opened and a dark, gloomy hallway appeared beyond us.

It looked like an alleyway. There was a lamppost, a couple puddles, and some trash. I heard the sound of metal scraping in the distance.

Erica walked out and motioned for us to follow.

"Are we outside?" I asked.

"Not sure. There are some walls here, though," Erica replied.

We followed the sound of the scraping, and when we reached it, it left me frozen in my tracks.

What appeared to be a massive building, similar to a factory, was standing below us (FYI, we were on a cliff). The windows illuminated a orangish-yellow light. Cars were parked in front of it. Spotlights circling the factory. There were giant drones patrolling the area.

"Would you look at that?" Erica said.

I took out my phone and snapped a photo of it.

Erica smiled, "Nice thinking."

I smiled back. I think I even blushed a bit, too.

Then Erica slid down the cliff, "Come on guys, this is important stuff. Let's go," I followed behind her.

Mike and Zoe hesitated, "Are you sure?"

Erica looked at them, "Yes! Come on. We've got to report this. Ben, take photos of anything that looks important."

I nodded.

Mike and Zoe shared looks, but they agreed to come. They slid down the hill and we crept under the rubble.

Men wearing the same yellow-visor-glass mask, like in the video, were walking around guarding the factory thing.

We stayed low and avoided them.

As we neared the factory, Erica turned on her earpiece and radioed in, "Hey, I'm back. Can anyone hear me?"

The rest of us turned on our earpieces as well.

I heard a voice. I figured it belonged to Alexander, "Yeah, you got anything?"

"Nothing yet, but we found some sort of factory under the school. Can you try to find a way to get in. We might need you here."

"Okay, we'll try. I let the rest know," Alexander said, "Good luck, Erica."

I saw Erica smile, "Thanks. See you later," And with the push of a button, she turned her earpiece off. Mike and Zoe did the same. Except I kept mine.

Then, she looked over her shoulder, "Coast is clear guys. Let's go!"

She jumped over the pile of rubble. We followed her lead.

The orangish-yellow light got brighter and brighter. And more SOLDATS, drones, and even some dogs were swarming the place.

We took cover behind a parked car.

"Now, how are we supposed to get in?" Mike asked.

"We need some sort of disguise," I said. Erica smiled and nodded.

"Yeah, but where?" Zoe asked.

Then I heard some chatter behind us. Four men with the yellow-visor mask walked in and started to talk to each other.

"Them," Erica said, "Come on, let's take them down."
