Abir's POV

She is in critical condition.

My heart sunk and my shoulders immediately dropped off with this comment.

No.

No.

No.

No.

"I WANT HER TO BE ALRIGHT OR ELSE IT WOULD BE YOU AND THE DOCTOR WHO'S GONNA BE IN A CRITICAL CONDITION." I once again screamed on the top of my lungs, with my sudden outburst, Ansh and the other two men in the car diverted their attention towards me.

"S-ir, the do-ctor-r is-s try-ing the-ir be-sst."

"I DON'T GIVE A DAMN ABOUT THEIR TRYING. ALL THAT I WANT IS HER TO BE OKAY. AND WHAT I WANT." I said and once again I hung up the call.

Is this actually happening?
If anything happens to her, the doctor has to face the consequences.

We got put of the car once after reaching, and walked, correction - RAN inside.

All of my men behind me while Ansh just beside.

After reaching the reception, I slapped the counter hard to make the receptionist's attention to me.

As soon as she saw me, I could see her flinching.

"YES SIR." She said and stood up from her chair.

"ADRITI."

"sir, what?"

"ADRITII! WHERE IS SHE!" I slapped the counter harder while Ansh just tried to stop me doing this, which obviously failed.

"Se-he, is i-n room no. 26." She said stuttering.

Without anymore word I left for that room as fast as I could.

As I've already booked the entire hospital everyone seemed to be attentive.
If they weren't I would have slit their throat till now.

I reached near the room and saw her from the little window thing on the door.
She had a bandage wrapped around her forehead.

Her hands connected to multiple wires.
Her face looked pale, she was not the same chirpy and bossy Adriti I knew.

I stood outside, silent.

I just watched her with tears in my eyes.

Strange right?

A Mafia Boss crying for a women.
I know, but this time I can't hide my emotions.

I stared at her until I felt someone's hand on my shoulders.
I turned around and saw Ansh, he had a concerned look on his face.

"You okay?" He asked and patted my shoulders.
While I just hummed in response.

"Wanna go inside?" He said and I nodded.

Before we could go outside, a doctor reached to us.

I turned my attention to him with hopeful eyes.

Please say she is okay.

Please say she is alright.

Please say she is out of danger.

"How's she?" I asked.

"She is out of danger now." He said and I sighed in relief.

"If you would have come a few minutes later, we wouldn't have been able to sa-" before he could complete his sentence, I held his throat.

HOW DARE HE SAY THAT.

"HOW DARE YOU" I said and lifted my hand to punch him, but was stopped by someone in middle.

AGAIN,
THIS "ARE YOU SURE" MAN?!!!!

ANSHHH

"Leave him." He said in a calm voice and I left him, who was shivering with fear.

As soon as I left him, he quickly took a leave not wanting to be killed.

"What are you doing?" Ansh asked me in an irritated voice.

"DOING WHAT?"

He sighed in frustration and said, "never mind, lets go inside." He said while I just shrugged my shoulders.

Once again, we were stopped by someone.

WILL ANYONE LET ME IN?!!!

It was a lady in her mid thirties, I guess she's a nurse.

"Sir, p-please one per-son at a -time." She said with fear running in her voice and I am sure that's because, she watched the doctor's condition.

"WHY?!" I screamed.

"S-sir, it-isnt righ-t f-or the pati-ent." I calmed at this statement of hers.
I don't want to trouble Adriti in this condition now!

"You go Abir." Ansh said and side hugged me with concern.

I nodded and took a deep breath before entering the room.
