Shadows of the Past (sequel to: I'm Kakashi's Daughter?!)

Enemies are everywhere

30 minutes later

Kazuki's pov

We were waiting at the gate for Kakashi-sensei and Ayame to show up. With we, I meant myself, Kazuo, Naruto, Sakura, Sai, Tenzou-sensei, Hinata, Kiba and Shino. "They're always late!" I exlaimed.

"We're early." Kazuo said. "There they are." he continued, pointing at Kakashi-sensei and Ayame, who were heading towards us.

"We'll split up in two groups." Kakashi-sensei said.

"I'll go with Kazuki and Kazuo." Ayame said.

"Do you need me to summon my nindogs for you?" Kakashi-sensei asked.

"That won't be necessary." Ayame replied before making handsigns. "Summoning jutsu." She placed her hands on the ground and three big dogs appeared in a poof of smoke. One of them was white, one was brown and one was black.

"What is it, Ayame-sama?" the white one asked. "You never summon all three of us."

"Brother, can't you just realize you aren't the only one who she needs?" the largest black one asked sarcastically.

"Who are they?" I asked her.

"This is the youngest one of them, Deiraito." she said, pointing at the white one. "The oldest, Yoru." She pointed at the black one. "And this is Yūgure." She pointed at the brown one. "They're siblings."

"What do you need us for?" Yoru asked.

"You'll be going with me, Yūgure will be going with Kazuo and Deiraito will be going with Kazuki. We'll find a place to set up base camp and we'll explain there." Ayame replied.

"Team 7, team 8 and team 11, your mission to find Itachi Uchiha starts now! Dismissed!" Tsunade exlaimed.

They said goodbye to the group and left. They stopped at an open spot. "From here on, we'll go seperate in three ways. If we would go with the rest, it would be too obvious we're here." Ayame said.

"We have to find Itachi Uchiha." I said.

"Oh him, he gave me treats a couple of times before! He's really nice!" Deiraito said happily.

"Deiraito, you're being way too loud." Yūgure told her. "If there would be an enemy, he or she wouls find us because of you."

"Someone's grumpy..." Deiraito muttered. Yūgure got ready to attack him, but Yoru stopped them from killing each other.

"Could you two cut it out already?" he said. "Let's just hear what Ayame-sama has to say."

"Thanks for preventing them from killing each other, Yoru." Ayame said before giving them orders. "Just don't go further than five kilometres and don't die." she said before heading east with Yoru. Kazuo and Yūgure walked north and I had to go south with Deiraito.

Kazuo's pov

After walking for a long time, we arrived at the border of a village. "I smell something." Yūgure said with his nose in the air.

"Whose smell is it?" I asked. Yūgure shook his head and told me he didn't know. After a while, we saw a man, carrying a blade. He had dark skin, black hair and brown eyes.

"It's so stupid I can't just kill you..." he muttered. "Leader-sama wants you and your teammates alive, so..." He pulled out his blade and attacked me with a lot of speed.

'He's fast!' I thought. I couldn't dodge his attacks forever, I needed help from Kazuki and Ayame. "Kazuki! I'm under attack, I need your help!" I told Kazuki.
