*Hyejoo's pov*

That night I couldn't sleep well, as I had a lot of things on my mind. That's why I somehow managed to wake up earlier than Yerim, which was so surprising that she actually started worrying about my well-being:

"Hyejoo, are you sure you're alright? maybe you've got a headache? or, even worse, a fever?"- she asked.

"Yerim, I promise I'm alright. I don't have a headache, nor do I have a fever. You need to relax"- I hadn't told her about what happened with Chaewon and, therefore, she didn't know about our conversation either. I didn't want to tell her at all, because I knew what her reaction would be. But, then again, I'm sure she will have found out by the time the day ends because Sooyoung exists. She was the one to see everything and was also the first one to think that I have a crush on Chaewon which is, by the way, absolute nonsense. I don't have crushes. Well, not anymore. My friends should know that better than anyone.

I and Yerim walked together for only half of the way because we had different classes. This didn't make me feel too good, because I had to attend this class for the first time and also, coincidentally, had to be all alone in a group of strangers. I dragged my feet to class and was basically preparing for the worst. But, the moment I walked in, I was pleasantly surprised by who I saw.

It was her. The girl who I hit with the ball. Park Chaewon.

As I opened the door, she looked in my direction and smiled. God, she has such a pretty smile.

"Yah! Son Hyejoo! I didn't know we'd have the same class as well! was hitting me with your ball, not enough?"- she said in a clearly joking manner, but it still kind of stung me.

"Well, miss Park Chaewon, I didn't expect you to be here, either. Was getting hit by the ball not enough? or do I need to add more damage?"- I'm not a stranger to sarcastic replies either, so I did not fail to match her energy. As I said this she smiled again, but this time in a more sassy manner. As we were talking, more and more students started arriving and taking their seats.

"Are you just going to stand there until someone takes the seat beside me, Hyejoo?"- she suddenly said- "you don't seem like someone who enjoys being close to strangers, and yet you were lucky enough to be in the same class as me. Use your chance".

She had a point, really. Besides, something was telling me that I'd take the seat next to her even if I knew every single person in the classroom. So I did what she asked me to do and sat down right beside her. The moment I did so, I could feel the smell of her perfume, which was extremely sweet. It was like walking through a field of flowers. To be honest, it did fit her personality.

As I was in my thoughts regarding Chaewon's perfume, the professor walked into the classroom, and, therefore, the class began. To my surprise, it was actually interesting to attend. Maybe it was the way professor Hwang spoke. Or maybe it was the fact that I was excited to sit next to Chaewon. I couldn't understand why, though. It's nothing important, but my heart still beats fast. I couldn't help but look at her a few times during the class. One time, our eyes met. That meant that she was stealing glances at me as well. Weird.
