*Sooyoung's POV*
I got woken up by Jinsol's loud alarm, per usual. Her alarm being too loud was very irritating at first, but I have gotten used to it by now. Besides, she's the deepest sleeper I've ever met. So much so that even though her alarm is loud enough to wake up the whole dormitory, she still doesn't get woken up by it, so I have to force her to get up every morning.
"Alright, get your ass up, Jinsol, it's time for classes"- I started talking with a loud voice and approached her bed, then nudged her a few times so that she would finally wake up. At last, she started to make small movements and then finally groaned loudly.
"Ugh, you're just like my mother"- she said as she hazily opened her eyes.
"Well, the last time I didn't wake you up for classes you got mad at me, so I'm not making that mistake again"- I said this and then went to the bathroom to wash up. I came out in around ten minutes and saw Jinsol picking out clothes and also simultaneously talking on the phone. When she saw me, I simply pointed to the bathroom, hinting that I was out, and she nodded.
" I'll see you in a bit and we can talk then, okay? I gotta get ready now or I'll be late and the same goes for you. Bye"- she said and dropped the call, then immediately rushed to the bathroom. I had already picked out what I was going to wear when she came out, and I decided to tease her:
"Jeez, Jinsol, you really can't go one minute without talking to your girlfriend, can you?"
"Well, you can go ahead and fuck off with your assumptions, because that was not my girlfriend. It was actually a friend who has been extremely clingy for the last few days"- she replied and started to get dressed. It took me a minute to realize who she was talking about.
"Oh, it was Chaewon. How has she been doing after all the drama? It's been a few days, so I'm sure everything has set in by now"- I asked and looked at my roommate.
"To be honest, she's doing pretty well. I think she's just trying to focus on her studies completely and that's somewhat helping her with keeping herself together. Kind of like Jungeun, don't you think?"- she asked and looked at me.
"We haven't had one conversation about this without you comparing it to the situation that used to be between you and Jungeun, Jinsol. I don't understand what you're trying to do".
"I'm just waiting for an opportunity to speak to the other half of this story. I don't think you know this, but back when I and Jungeun were still not together and on bad terms, I spoke to Hyejoo for a few minutes and, believe it or not, she was actually very helpful. Chaewon is my friend, of course, but I still can't ignore the fact that I used to be in Hyejoo's position in the past and I might be helpful. By the way, you're her best friend so you should know, how has she been doing?"
"Well, not as well as Chaewon, that's for sure. Honestly, I can't tell. Hyejoo is a very difficult person to read when it comes to emotions. I know she's not feeling good, but I don't know how bad everything actually is. It kind of pisses me off, actually. It's always been like this"- I replied and then grabbed my phone.
"What are you doing?"- Jinsol asked.
"Texting Yerim. I don't want Hyejoo skipping any more classes. Two days is enough. If Yerim doesn't answer me, then it means that they haven't woken up yet and that they're skipping again"- I said and started to get dressed. I was ready in around ten minutes and looked at my phone. No reply.
"Well, I can only assume that they're not awake"- I said to Jinsol.
"Well, what are you going to do then?"- she asked with a curious face.
