The girls stayed at my dorm for almost an hour. At one point, we all got tired and decided to call it a day and go to our rooms. As they were walking out Jinsol, who was the last one, slightly turned her head and said:
"Good luck".
And then she walked out, closing the door behind her. Yerim got up to lock it and then went into the bathroom, while I just decided to go to sleep, as I was pretty exhausted. But, I was so anxious about the next day that I slept for a very small amount of time and managed to wake up before Yerim, which, once again, came to her as a shock.
"I knew you were nervous, of course, but I didn't expect you to shoot up at 7 AM in the morning on a Saturday"- she said to me as I was speeding from one corner of the room to another.
"Yah, Son Hyejoo, are you even listening to me?"
"Yes. I'm just too busy with thinking to answer you"- I replied and continued walking back and forth until I felt something grab my hand and stop me. I looked down to see Yerim firmly gripping my arm.
"I think you've had enough of walking around our small room. Sit down"- she basically ordered me to do it and I decided to do as she asked.
"Tell me, what exactly worries you, Hyejoo?"- she asked after I sat down beside her.
"Well, the conversation I'm about to have today, obviously. But, more specifically, I legit don't know when or how I'm supposed to do it. How do I even start a conversation like that?"- I asked as I looked at Yerim.
"Honestly, Hyejoo, I don't have an answer for that. You'll feel it when the moment is right. Also, don't try to come up with what you're going to say beforehand, because it's pointless. You never know what she will reply with".
"I guess you're right about that. But, how do I find her? I have zero clues about her plans for this Saturday, she almost always goes to a new place every weekend".
"Hyejoo, I swear, sometimes you're so dense, it shocks me. Have you forgotten that my girlfriend is roommates with her?"- Yerim asked with a slightly teasing tone.
"Well... I kinda did"- I answered truthfully, which made my friend groan.
"What would you do without me?"- she said and took her phone, texting Yeojin to call her when she wakes up. Not even a minute had passed when her phone started ringing and she immediately picked up and put it on speaker:
"Good morning, sunshine"- Yeojin's voice was slightly raspy.
"Good morning, did I wake you up?"- Yerim asked and sounded a little worried.
"Yerimie, you can wake me up whenever you want to, I don't mind it at all. So, what's up?"
"Is Chaewon in the room right now? or, more specifically, can she hear this conversation?"
"Nope, she's in the bathroom having a shower".
"Okay, then, I've got someone who wants to talk to you"- Yerim said and motioned me to speak.
"Oh, I can guess who that could be. Will you speak already, Hyejoo?"- Yeojin said over the phone, sounding slightly irritated.
"Good morning to you too, Yeojin"- I said to her- "I really don't know how to ask this without sounding like a psychopath, but I'd like to know where Chaewon is planning to go today if you know".
"Why would you ask for a whole ass schedule of someone else's day? kinda creepy if you ask me"- Yeojin, of course, seized the opportunity to tease me.
"Because I want to talk to that someone, Yeojin, and I don't know where I'll be able to find her today"- as I said this, Yeojin suddenly went quiet. Then, she said:
