After talking for a while we left the cafe and walked back to the dorms together. Haseul's room was in a different direction from ours, because she was older than us, so we had to go separate ways.
"Chaewon, I was thinking of visiting Sooyoung. I haven't seen her since she left the party with Jinsol".
"Actually, I want to see Jinsol too, because I'm thinking that something happened yesterday that she hasn't spoken about yet".
"Oh, so you noticed Jungeun's lipstick on her face too?"
As I said this she looked at me and then we both laughed out loud: "Of course I did! How could I not, it's color is brighter than my future!"
"Aright, alright, if you want to see Jinsol then we should go to their room now. I'm looking forward to you interrogating Jinsol, actually"- I said this and we continued walking until we reached their room. I knocked on the door, but they didn't open it immediately. So I knocked again and, finally, heard someone's steps. The door opened and I saw Jinsol standing at the doorstep.
"Well hello there, kids. What brings you here?"- she said and yawned.
"I'm here to see my dumbass best friend and she's here to speak to you about something"- I replied and walked into the room and the sight that fell in front of my eyes wasn't exactly the best one. Sooyoung was literally lying on the floor, looking at the ceiling, not doing anything. If I didn't see that she was breathing I would've probably pronounced her dead.
"Jesus fucking Christ, you look like a pile of shit"
"Well, that is what I am after all that I did, so I suppose it's the way everything should be".
"Hyejoo, I've been trying to convince her to get her ass up and at least wash up for hours but it's not fucking working, you're my last resort"- said Jinsol as she was closing the door after Chaewon walked in.
"Alright. Sooyoung, get up. I won't say this again".
"No."
"Okay, I've had enough of being the good cop"- I said this and grabbed her, forcing her to get up.
"Nooooo Hyejoo let me goooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!"
"shut. the. fuck. up."- I said as I was dragging her into the bathroom. After a minute of her fighting back, we were finally standing in front of the mirror.
"Well, don't just stand there you moron, do something".
She looked at me and said: "I hate your persistent ass, Son Hyejoo"- and then proceeded to finally brush her teeth, which she should've done at least four hours ago but as long as I somehow forced her into it I'm not complaining.
"I know that your depressed ass didn't shower yesterday, so don't expect me to let you off like that".
"Fine. Just get out of here".
"Nope, I'll stay here to make sure you actually did it. I'll turn around, tell me when I can look".
"Oh my fucking god, you're an actual psycho. Turn around, I'm taking my clothes off".
I turned around and waited for her to get into the cabin and cover herself with the curtains.
"You're all good now"- she said and turned on the water. I looked behind slowly because Sooyoung is the one to be willing to embarrass herself to prank someone but, luckily, she was actually showering behind the curtain. I could only see her shadow. I lowered the toilet seat and sat down, thinking about how long it would take for her to get herself together. Considering the fact that the basketball tournament was beginning in two months, I was hoping that it would be soon because when Sooyoung loses concentration, her performance drops to absolute zero. She might be annoying but she's actually a key player for the team: she's fast, tall, has good stamina, and good aim. And, aside from the championship, I'm just generally worried for her. Seeing her feeling like shit doesn't have a good effect on me, either. I sat there for a while and then finally heard her say:
