*Hyejoo's POV*

Time seemed to be passing slower than ever. Classes seemed especially boring. Honestly, everything felt that way. Even though my friends tried to cheer me up numerous times, it seemed like my life had lost the color that I cherished the most, which could not be replaced by anything else. But, I still somehow managed to get through the week and, right on the one-week "anniversary" of my breakup, the final game of the basketball championship was taking place.

The rituals before the game were the same as usual, we hung out in the dressing room together but, this time, we were missing one person, and I'm sure that anyone can guess who it was. So, when everyone else was being extremely loud, per usual, I was quiet, trying to concentrate on the game as hard as I could.

"God, I think this is the most nervous I've ever been since I confessed to Vivi"- Haseul said and she honestly sounded a little too stressed.

"I agree, I want to get this game over with as soon as possible. I mean, I don't want to lose, but the anticipation part is the worst"- Ryujin followed up on Haseul's sentence.

"Honestly, I think I was more nervous before the game against JYP. I'm kinda confident in my abilities today"- Sooyoung said with her usual self-absorbed smirk.

"Don't get too cocky, Ha Sooyoung, it might cost you the game. In any case, no matter what happens, I just want all of you to know that we did very well and exceeded every expectation that was set for us by the public. Just know that no matter the results, I'm proud of all of you"- Hyunjin said and smiled at us.

"God, Hyunjin, you're so unpredictable sometimes"- said Sooyoung- "but thank you. Really, we could have never asked for a better captain than you".

"Agreed"- I decided to say at least something after Hyunjin's words.

"Oh? Son Hyejoo has learned how to speak again? Here I thought that you had gone mute"- Jungeun, who was in the dressing room as always, being her annoying self, said to me, and that caused the whole dressing room to chuckle.

"Let her be, Jungeun, she's trying to concentrate on the game"- Heejin tried to defend me.

"Or she's just having her emo hours again"- Yeojin, however, took the first chance to slander me and didn't let it go for a second.

"Jeez, let the poor girl breathe"- now it was Jinsol who was trying to defend me, but I could see that she found the situation quite funny.

"Fuck all of you. Isn't it time we went out for warmup already?"- I asked.

"Vivi hasn't come in yet, so I don't think so"- just as Yerim replied with this, the door opened and Vivi came in, followed by Jiwoo who had gone out to the bathroom a few minutes ago.

"Okay, girls, it's time for warmup"- Vivi said and gestured us to come outside.

"Well, you've got your answer, Son Hyejoo"- Ryujin said and slightly nudged me.

"Okay then, we won't be able to talk until after the match so I just want to wish you all good luck"- Jinsol said to us and was quickly followed by Jiwoo:
