*Hyejoo's POV*
As I have said numerous times before, time passes very quickly. So quickly that it becomes unnoticeable. It felt like I had only blinked once, and yet we were already at the end of the year. Summer break was almost here and most of us, obviously, was going back to our families. But, before doing so, since we were all already eighteen, our friend group decided to spend a few days at a beach house owned by Haseul and Yeojin's family.
The friend group that I just mentioned basically consists of all the couples: Jiwoo and Sooyoung, Haseul and Vivi, Yerim and Yeojin, Heejin and Hyunjin, Jungeun and Jinsol and, finally, Me and Chaewon. During the events that had occurred throughout the last year, we had all actually gotten pretty close. To be honest, all the drama that took place managed to get us all together and, even though this group is extremely noisy and annoying at times, I can't say that I don't like it. So, there we were, at the beach house, ready to start what would probably be remembered as one of the best weeks of our lives.
"Okay, Yeojin, Haseul, we knew that your families were rich, but not THIS rich"- Hyunjin said as we walked towards a pretty large house.
"Yah, Kim Hyunjin, have some manners, who says stuff like that?"- Jiwoo said as she slightly punched Hyunjin's arm, which made the taller girl glare at her.
"Actually, it's fine, I get that a lot"- Haseul said as she unlocked the door of the house.
"Well, I'm just lucky that our mother married her father, because my dad could never even dream of owning a beach house. But, because I'm a part of the family as well, I get the luxury to call this place my own"- Yeojin said with a smirk.
"Yeah, yeah, keep walking, you brat"- Sooyoung said as she nudged Yeojin from behind.
"It's been like, what, two minutes since we arrived? and y'all are already noisy as hell"- Junegun whined.
"Whoever doesn't like us can leave, we ain't holding you hostage"- I said to Jungeun, which caused her to glare at me as well.
"Okay, children, enough"- Vivi suddenly spoke up, which made us all immediately shut up- "let's just unpack"
"Vivi's right, there are six rooms in total and each room can fit two people. Basically, perfect amount of space for us. Also, please, do not make some... noises at night. The walls are thin"- Haseul said, which made all of us gag.
"Jesus, Haseul, who the fuck do you take us for"- Heejin said with a disgusted face.
After this, we all headed to our respective rooms. I and Chaewon decided to pick the one that had a balcony, which pissed the rest of the girls off, but we weren't about to give the best room up. So, they had to comply.
"Hyejoo"- she said to me as we were unpacking- "there's only one two-place bed, what should we do?"
I looked at her with a surprised face, which made her laugh- "Jeez, relax, I'm just messing with you. You know, it's exciting to think that I'll be waking up beside you for the next few days. I don't think we've ever slept in the same bed for consecutive days".
"Yeah, you're right, we haven't. I mean, it's not really possible when we're in college. We can't switch places every night"- I replied and crouched beside my bag.
"Turn around"- I suddenly heard her voice, so I turned without getting up. She was standing behind me and, the moment I turned around, she placed her hands around my neck. I naturally placed my hands around her waist.
"Listen, Hye, this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for us, so let's enjoy it to the fullest, shall we?"- she said as she leaned in closer, our noses now touching.
