*Chaewon's POV*
I woke up before Yeojin did, again. I mean, at this point, it's not surprising at all, considering the fact that she always goes to sleep late. Honestly, I don't understand how she functions as a human being after getting like three hours of sleep every day. Well, it's not really my problem, but it also is kind of concerning. I've gotten quite close to the girl ever since we were put in the same dorm room, so I can't help but worry about her questionable sleeping patterns. As I was thinking about this, I heard her alarm clock go off and she immediately shot up from her bed.
"I can't believe that you wake up the moment your alarm goes off, Yeojin. You're insane"- I said to her and went into the bathroom to wash up.
"As I've explained a million times before, Chaewon, I'm just an extremely sensitive sleeper. Nothing special"- she said as she was getting out of bed. In a few minutes, I finished brushing my teeth and got out of the bathroom and, when she saw me outside, Yeojin immediately went in to wash up herself as well. While she was washing up, I was picking out clothes for myself.
"Hey, Chaewon, can I ask you for a favor tonight?"- she asked when she came out of the bathroom.
"Well, that depends on what you want from me"- I said to her as I was putting on an eden green sweater.
"I want you to stay over at Hyejoo's room tonight, so Yerim can stay over here"
"What?!"- I asked in an unusually loud voice, which clearly shocked Yeojin.
"Jeez, it's not like i'm asking you to switch rooms for forever. Just one night, please? Me and Yerim have our five month anniversary and we wanted to spend the night together, so please be a good friend and take one for the team? Besides, it's not like i'm forcing you to stay with someone you don't know, it's your GIRLFRIEND. I'm pretty sure the two of you should be enjoying each other's company".
"I mean, yeah, you've got a point. I'm down to do that but I don't know what Hyejoo will say. She might not like this idea. She's unpredictable, you know that"- I replied to her as I was putting on my earrings.
"Well, you're gonna have to be the one asking her about that too. Her and Yerim and me won't meet until classes end because our schedules are too different, but you happen to have a class with her. It's up to you, so please, try your best and let me know when she gives you her answer"- she said and I could hear the desperation in her voice.
"Ugh. Fine. I'll do what I can, but I'm not promising anything"- I replied to her. After this, we didn't speak much and then walked together until we had to go in different directions since our classes were far from one another. I couldn't focus on the class properly, because I was thinking about how to tell Hyejoo about Yeojin and Yerim's request. More importantly, I was thinking about what her answer would be.
I didn't say this to Yeojin, but the moment she brought this idea up, I thought about how I would feel if Hyejoo rejected it. Honestly, I wanted to spend the night in the same room with her. I'm not asking for anything even remotely sexual, just an intimate moment between two people who like each other. So, if she were to decline this offer, I'm sure that it would break my heart. So, all I could hope for was that she wouldn't do that. But, then again, she's the best at unpredictability, so I couldn't really expect anything.
The class felt like an eternity. At last, it ended and I quickly rushed to my next class, as I wanted to be there before Hyejoo. Luckily, I succeeded, as when I arrived there, the classroom was almost empty. I spent the next ten minutes coming up with a good way to try to convince Hyejoo to say yes to the offer without making her feel like I was forcing her to do something. I could feel my heart racing and I couldn't really understand the reason behind me being so anxious. At last, the door opened and Hyejoo walked in. When she saw me, she smiled and I smiled back, but I'm sure she could tell that I was stressed out about something.
