The following day Bongeka was traditionally married to Nicholas although she hadn't met him. She expected the groom's representative and her uncles to be there to negotiate the bride price, then some ceremonies. But her lobola was different, it was just a one on one meeting with that man. Her mother didn't even prepare lunch for them. It was more of a business deal then it was a Lobola negotiation.

That was the least of her problems at the moment, all she thought about is the real father, who is he? Why wasn't she told about this? She had to find out about it in the most horrible way.

"Bongeka my child, it's time" her mother says, no one needed to tell her what time it was. It was obvious that she had to go with her so-called husband which she wasn't looking forward to meeting.

"Mom, please don't do this. I promise I will be a good girl please just don't let go of me" she whimpered. Her mother hugged her in compassion but there was nothing she could do. Dlamini's word is law.

"Baby, I promise you will be fine. Nicholas looks like a decent man. I'm sure he will take good care of you. Better than Dlamini could have"

Bongeka knew that nothing she'd say would change her 'father's' mind. She stood up and heaved her already packed luggage. Her mother gave her a hug again biding her goodbye before they exited. Dlamini didn't even bid her goodbye.

A very buff man was standing beside the maserati. He must be rich. But that didn't make Bongeka feel any better. The man before her was too buff for her liking, too tall and to ugly, well not ugly but scary.

The man opened the door for her to get in the car, with no questions asked. She did just that. She didn't want to invite any trouble. The man did not even greet her, they drove in silence until Bongeka fell asleep.

Bongeka woke up in an unfamiliar room, she blinked, raising her hands to rub her eyes. She looked around the room trying to remember how she got there, the room was beautiful, creepy but beautiful. The lights were on but dimmed . The bed was huge draped in dark sheets comfortably soft. It look like the owner of this room was a huge fan of black. She almost wanted to lie back down and drift off to sleep. That would be it if it wasn't a stranger's bed.

She remembered falling asleep in the car. What she didn't understand is that how come she didn't feel something picking him from the car. She is a very light sleeper, she should have felt someone's hands on her.

She stood up admiring the room not knowing she wasn't alone.

"Bongeka" the voice echoed making her jump in fear

"Hmm I see you are comfortable already" it was a different man. Who is my husband?

She thought to herself

"Are you my husband?" she asks, looking thoroughly at this scary man with black eyes and pale skin.

"So you really thought you'd be my wife huh?"

"What do you mean? Someone came and paid Lobola for me. Where is Nicholas?" she asked in confusion

"Listen here little girl, I know who you are. So drop the act" Bongeka was even more confused. Didn't her family tell this man who her name is?

"I'm Bongeka Dlamini" she says seeing that the introductions were not done

"No! You're not! But it's fine, my master will be thrilled to find out that I was able to find you"

"Honey!" a female voice said. A blonde girl appeared. Her green eyes landed on Bongeka

"Love, don't tell me you brought a snack in Yamkelwe's room. We can't feed here"
