Bongeka woke up only to find Yamkelwe watching her.

“How are you feeling?” Bongeka asked thinking about the pain he went through because of her.

“I'm the one who should be asking you that, how are you feeling?”

“Awful. I'm really sorry for what I did to you, it wasn't my intention at all”  she said sincerely.

“It's okay. You should learn to control Pandora, not the other way around.”

“I don't know how to”

“Just be yourself. You will surely learn” he said with a smile. Bongeka looked at him thoroughly, he had a beautiful smile, dimples, long lashes and thick eyebrows. She wondered how such a beautiful thing could be this evil.

“Sweets” Yamkelwe waved his hands bringing her back to earth.

“Penny for your thoughts?” he asked with a raised eyebrow. He seemed to be doing that quite a lot.

“Are suffering from a personality disorder?” Bongeka blurted out, earning herself a frown from Yamkelwe.

“I beg your pardon…”

“No! Pardon my left foot, you heard me correct. Your sense of hearing is too strong—”

“sweets, you are rambling. It turns me on… Anyway to answer your question. No, I don't have that kind of disorder. It's a human disease and I'm not one” Yamkelwe answered calmly.

“I'm sorry, it's just that I don't get you. Sometimes you're cold and sometimes you are hot.”

“That's so rich coming from you sweets,
But then you're a human, half human precisely but you have a human in you so…” he said shrugging.

They just stared at each other for a few minutes until Yamkelwe broke the silence—no scratch that. Here is the paraphrase—until Yamkelwe dropped a bomb.

“I love you Bongeka” for the first time, he was addressing her as Bongeka not sweets or Pandora.

“No! Shut up. I know what you are trying to do, it won't work. Marco did it too. He pretended to be my friend while he was using me to get to you. Now you’re doing the very same thing. No! I won't fall for that trap again. You hate me, you want to kill me I know —”  she was talking very fast, Yamkelwe could barely get her words.

“Sweets, calm down. We don't want to trigger Pandora, do we?” He was two centimeters away from her. His hands were stroking her rich afro. For some reason, he was able to calm her down.

“How do you do it? How are you able to tame me?”

Yamkelwe just shrugged.

“Something is not right, I can feel it” she was certain that something was wrong somewhere.

“Sweets, I'm sorry if I upset you. I didn't mean to”  He apologized sincerely.

“No, it's not you. Something is just not right”

Ten teenage girls  who were fearing for their lives were put in an enormous circle of fire that prevented them from escaping. Not that they'd try that. Even if they were to escape the flame but they wouldn't even go far since the place was surrounded by lycans.

There were so many different weapons that were scattered everywhere inside the fire circle: sword, axe, dagger, hammer, gun, bow and arrow just to mention a few. There was only one set of the particular kind of a weapon.

“What a beautiful evening” Seth said, turning around, his hands in the air. He was smiling like a kid in a candy store.
Not to mention Marco who couldn't wait for the real fun.

“it's one of those nights where we welcome a new member in our pack. Without wasting any more time, let me just give out the instruction and let the match begin. What is going to happen is that you (pointing at the girls) beautiful girls  will be fighting for survival. Have you ever heard of Darwinism?”  Seth asked, walking around the fire. Everyone was quiet, the only sound that was there was the sobs of the girls.

“When I ask you something, you give me an answer! . Are we clear?”  Seth roared.
The girls nodded repeatedly in terror.

“Good. Back to the initial question… have you ever heard of darwinism?”

The girls shook their heads no except for the one who was doing grade twelve.

“Hmm, seems like one of you knows, tell the other girls about Darwinism” Seth instructed.

“It—it is… it's natural selection” the girl answered.

“Hmm, what is your name miss?”

“A-Amandla”

“Hmm. Amandla, Your friends over there—oops(raising eyebrows in sarcasm) I mean your enemies over there are clueless.what did your life sciences teacher told you?”

“She said it's the survival of the fittest”

“Yes! Survival of the fittest! That's what is going to happen. The fittest amongst you will survive and stand a chance to become our omega. Isn't that nice?”

Silence

“Now, there's only ten of you and more than twenty weapons. You pick whatever weapon you want to use, or whatever is near, it's up to you. You can even pick two or three or pick them all if you want. You kill whoever is in front of you, remember only one of you will survive. I hope you didn't make any friends because you will be slaying each other. Even if you decide to pair or team up but at the end you will have to fight against each other . So it's up to you. The game does not have any rules. Play it however you want. The strongest and bravest  will be the last woman standing .Fight for survival. Free advice to y’all, show —no— compassion. Let the match begin…”

After Seth explained, all the lycans shifted into their wolf form and growled in joy for the fun that was about to go down. They couldn't wait to witness the fear of their victims. Their fear of killing, but they had no choice. It needed to be an individual or the opponent. They will end up slaughtering each other until one of them remains. It was Life or death!
