[third person's POV]

“Baby, something is wrong. Something is definitely wrong. We have to find her!” Precious said pacing up and down.

“Could you just stand still and stop whining, you're making me dizzy” Yamkelwe also stressed. He lost the connection  with Bongeka which worried him about her whereabouts. She could be stranded somewhere, unmarked and unsafe. What if the werewolves prey on her or even the vampires?
Those were the questions that were running through his head while Precious was only stressed because of power she lost. She thought she'd still know Bongeka's whereabouts although she let her go. But the connection she thought she had with Pandora was no more.

“Are you even listening to me? She is gone” she waved her hand on the air in frustration. Her face had turned red.

“She is gone Precious, of course she is gone. You compelled her to go, didn't you?”

“You saw it yourself baby it didn't work”

“Same difference, you wanted her gone anyway”

Precious’ phone rang…

“What!” she answered the call

“Precious, is that how you answer the calls now?”
Precious glanced at Yamkelwe who wasn't even paying attention to her. She then went to the bathroom to continue with the call.

“What do you want Marco?”

“Precious, we had a deal. Where is she?” he was referring to Pandora.

“She is out there, I don't know where she is”

“What do you mean you don't know where she is? I need her!”

“Why are you shouting at me? I did my part, now find her. Kill her marry her I don't care as long as she plays far away from my man”

Marco chuckled “This is about the master to you huh? Listen here Precious. I want Pandora alive or else your  vampire master is good as dead” he said before dropping the call. Precious had agreed to help him take down Yamkelwe starting by separating Pandora from him, but Precious had her own agenda.

Kaden took Bongeka to his room after making sure that no one saw them. Ntando, Kaden’s mate, was there.

“Oh my goodness what is this Kay!” he gasped with his hands covering his mouth.

“She is in trouble love, I had to help her”

“We'll get in trouble too!” Ntando was really scared, especially that Yamkelwe was grumpy ever since he came back from Norway.

“No one will know, she will go as soon she wakes up”

“Who will help her with the transition process?” Ntando was now concerned, he knew everything that was happening to Pandora. Kaden made sure to keep him updated.
“I will explain everything to her before I let go of her. I hope she understands what she has gotten herself to”
“I feel for her. A hybrid Pandora?”

Kaden sighed not knowing what to say.

“Maybe she will fight for us?”

“You think so?”

Bongeka gasped for air as she woke up. “Kaden help!” she screamed as the venom on her saliva burned her tongue.

“Shhh, keep it down Pandora. No one should know you are here” Ntando whispered.

“My mouth is burning, my gums feel swollen. They are painful as fuck ahhhh” she screamed again.

“You are in transition Pandora—”
“Shh, could you not talk so loud? My head hurts” Bongeka cut Kaden when he tried to explain.

“Bongeka, I did my part of the deal, now you need to go before someone finds you here” —Kaden

“I need food, I'm hungry. Please”  she begged as she felt weak like she was going to die.

“I do have a left over here,” Ntando said, giving her a half full glass of blood.

“It won't help love,”Kaden said.

“I know, but it will give her a bit of energy so that she could go hunt”

On the other side, Bongeka was disgusted by the animal blood that was given to her.
“I won't drink that”

“Bongeka, you wanted to be a vampire. Now you are in transition. If you don't consume blood you will die”

“But Yamkelwe—”

“Yamkelwe is a pure vampire. He has a choice. We all do. You will get to make your choices once you pass this stage”

Bongeka took the glass and gulped all of the blood in one go not minding the taste. Her gums were still swollen because her canines were extending into fangs.

“I'm not full”

“Just go please. You have to go. Make sure you feed as soon as possible for your survival. Now go” Bongeka wanted to argue but she didn't want Kaden in trouble. He had done a lot for her.

Kaden and Ntando sneaked her out but Kaden was concerned about her, should she survive the transition, she will need to join a coterie and be bonded. And no one was going to accept her since she has a werewolf gene. Hybrids were always killed because they were believed to be bad luck, there wasn't supposed to be any linkage between the blood of the werewolves and vampires. So the hybrids were not considered as werewolves and not considered as vampires. Which will make Bongeka a lonely hybrid. A hybrid that will go rogue and become a danger to everyone.

Bongeka's eyes were on fire, her skin was a bit sensitive to sunlight but it wasn't that bad.
She made her way to the human world. She went straight home.

“Oh my child, I missed you. Thank God you're safe” Her mother attacked her with a hug shedding tears of joy.

She hugged her back but pulled out quickly as her mother's pulse pumped hard, making a regular rhythm with an occasional pause.

“What's wrong Bongi?”her mother asked .
Bongeka wanted to respond or make up a lie but all she could think about was blood, all she smelled was blood. Her stomach ached, growled in hunger and thirst, her mother's loud heart beat didn't make things any easier for her. She knew she had to get out, she had to leave before she did something bad.

“I'm sorry mah, I have to go” she ran out of the house ignoring her mother's screams.

Along the way someone called for her “Hlw”  a little girl around her age greeted her with a smile.

“Hy, you look familiar”

“Yes, I'm Lwandle. Tell me you remember please. You saved my life”
Bongeka thought for a while,it was Lwandle. One of the girls from the wolves full moon ritual, the one he saved from Seth.

“Oh” that's all she could say, her stomach became worse and Lwandle’s voice made her head hurt even more. She was getting weaker with each second.

“Are you okay?” Bongeka nodded before chanting “Get away from me run”
Her voice was weak and husky.

“No, you helped me when I was in trouble. I will do the same. Let's go to the nearest clinic. I have a few ten rands with me” Lwandle extended her hand for Bongeka to hold.

“I said get away!”

“No!”

She failed to hold herself, she jumped on her as her fangs automatically extended, her eyes turned red and her skin became pale,as soon as Lwandle’s hit blood came in contact with her tongue. The burning sensation went away, replaced by the soothing feeling. Her whole body felt powerful as the blood ran through her veins, everything became peaceful, her hunger and thirst were gone.

By the time she got back to her senses, lwandle was laying on the ground, dead.

“What have I done?”
