Vampire Book

Days passed, Bongeka was treated like a queen, Marco made sure that she got everything she wanted. But the challenge that he was facing is that Bongeka hasn't agreed to be turned. The imagination of being a werewolf for the rest of her life disgusts her, but she was running out of time since she promised Marco that she was going to think about it but in an honest truth, she didn't want to be turned.

Marco knocked in her room and she welcomed her in.

"Good morning Pandora" he greeted
"Bongeka sounds better" she said giggling, she had gotten used to Marco, she felt free around him. He was the only person whom she was close with considering that Seth didn't like her, not that she liked him.

" Pandora sounds more sexy" Marco said with his famous charming smile
" but you said Pandora us evil"
"I brought you a smoothie," Marco said, handing her a jar of smoothie, probably changing the topic as well.
"Thank you, you're the best!" She once told Marco that she missed her home, because she'd wake up with a smoothie, have seafood as lunch and a few vegetables for dinner for her body maintenance. She liked keeping her body healthy and a bit masculine.
"My indulgence my beautiful Pandora"
Bongeka took a sip of her smoothie and moaned in pleasure.
"oh my word, what did you put here?" she asked, still amazed by the taste. She had never tasted a smoothie as nice as that one.
"it's a secret"
"oh please tell"
"it's a secret to your heart," he gave her a wink and put a book beside her before heading out.
Bongeka shook her head smiling and continued with her smoothie. With each sip, she felt electric shock throughout her body, not in a bad way but it was like the smoothie was giving her some sort of power and confidence. After she finished a smoothie she took a book Marco left.
THE BONDING OF VAMPIRES... That was the title of the book. Since she was bored she decided to read it. It took her hours to read through it but she was very intrigued by the information. The book was about the bonds of vampires and their kinds.

There were different types of vampires and different types of their bonds.
There are vampires that are called the royals. Like humans, vampires have royals. They were powerful, in charge of everything. Even their bonds were strong because their bonds were created by simply having royal blood, their existence was created by sharing their life force by blood, flesh and spirituality. Which works hand in hand with mental link, it gives them the ability to speak to each other even when they are miles away from each other.

Then there is a coterie bond, a coterie is an exclusive group of people, who associate closely for a common purpose. Even vampires have their coteries. Each of the coterie has a master.
Unlike with politics, coterie members don't vote for their masters. Some masters grow into it while others were born with abilities of being a master, which was to build or break the bonds, heal with their spirit while Normal vampires heal with only their blood.
Each and every vampire has to be a coterie member because if they are not bonded with anyone, they can become rogue.Rogue vampires are just that - they are a special kind of evil, will easily turn on their own kind, and are generally loners.

Royals can also bond with Masters, that type of bond is very invasive and dangerous because both of them have dangerous abilities.

There is a maker and Kindred bonds. Vampires can turn humans into vampires, so if a vampire turned a human, that vampire is a maker and a human is a kindred. These two bond for a few years until a kindred is mature enough to choose a coterie.

There is the last one, human and vampire bonds. Vampires can claim humans, the claimed humans are protected, vampires are not allowed to harm them. Only the royals can break that bond. Humans will have their powers but not as strong vampires.

Bongeka enjoyed reading about vampires although some of the things didn't make sense.

She was asking herself why did Marco give her this book? Why he didn't give her a book about werewolves instead and where did he get this book in the first place.

"She escaped Dlamini!"
"What do you mean she escaped Nicholas?"
"I don't know, I left her in yamkelwe's bedroom" Nicholas said, they were on call with Dlamini
"Nicholas, I didn't raise that girl for eighteen years for you to lose her. Find her before she finds a Pandora's box" Dlamini roared.
"I will find her, I need to get to Yamkelwe's good books"
"All you care about is being Yamkelwe's right hand man while we have bigger problems. Find Bongeka!"
"Okay, but I'm sure the werewolves found her and fed on her" Nicholas said feeling sad that he was no longer a hero who found Pandora"
"It'd be better that way, now we need to find that Pandora's box"
"We should be, our kind is losing its touch, we need to get hold of Pandora's spirit so that we won't be killed anymore and we'll be able to finish off the werewolves" .

After they hung up, Nicholas went to the headquarters. There was a coterie meeting.
"I was able to track the person who has been killing vampires for so many years"
There was a hubbub of shouting, some were happy that the vampire hunter was found , some were confused and wanted Yamkelwe to further explain.

"I was wondering why it was so easy for me to find her while I failed all these years. Only to find that she was just a vessel for Pandora's spirit" Yamkelwe continued

"Master, you're saying that she is no longer possessed by Pandora?" one if the vampire asked and Samkelwe simply nodded his head.

"Which means, Someone else will heredit Pandora's spirit?" another vampire asked, again Yamkelwe nodded

"In the past few weeks, no one died meaning no one found Pandora's box as yet. Which leads to why we are here, each of us here will have to look for it!" Yamkelwe said.

"But Bongeka is the one with Pandora's spirit" Nicholas said
"William, you've telling me about Bongeka but I've never seen her"
"I once brought her here and she escaped"
Yamkelwe chuckled "if you are so certain, then find her William"

He shifted his attention back to everyone " while our beloved William looks for his Bongeka, some of you will have to go to the west and look there while some will look in the human world."

"Master we are not allowed in the west, you know that" Nicholas blurted
"I know, that doesn't change the fact that you will go there. Unless you want a werewolf to find the box first" Yamkelwe said
"If they find it first, I'm sure that the belligerent called Marco won't hesitate to kill us" Nicholas said.
"exactly. I will also take part in this quest. I know I'm asking a lot from you but we need to do this. Once we have Pandora's box on our side, we will have more power"
