Days passed, Yamkelwe’s wound was getting intense with each day, his behavior was getting worse too. He'd sometimes attack other vampires. Sometimes he'd become so weak. What was worse was that he was running out of time. If the cure wasn't found within the next few days, Yamkelwe would die.

Precious had to agree to date Marco, not because she loved him but she was hoping Bongeka would turn more wolves so that Marco would help her with the hybrid blood.

Unfortunately for her, no hybrids were made. Instead, the wolves were dying each day. Strangely, they were not attacked. Some would get sick for a few hours then die, some would just collapse, some were stuck in their wolf form and some were stuck in their human form.

"Love, I think Alpha is up to something" Marco's love for Precious had blinded him. He always made sure to tell Precious every wolf affairs.

Bad move.

" Hmm, he is still upset about the dead girl?"

"Just think about it, we could always get humans to turn but he is just obsessed with that girl"

Just like he was obsessed with Precious...

"We need to find Pandora, love"

"Any leads?"

"No, the pack is perishing" Marco was so stressed about his pack.
That was good news for Precious. That meant Marco would make more effort in finding Pandora and kill her, well after using her blood to heal Yamkelwe.

"Baby! You know why your pack is perishing?" Precious gave him her wicked smile.
Marco gestured for her to continue.

"You don't have an Alpha"

Marco narrowed his eyebrows in confusion "Seth is an Alpha love"

"He is not, wake up Marco. Seth bit Yamkelwe because he was losing the fight, the wolves are dying bit by bit yet he hasn't done anything about it. The only thing he is worried about is that ritual girl, he is weak"

"Love —"

"Shhh, look at the brighter side, Seth isn't worthy of leading this pack. I don't know much about your kind but I know that an Alpha's would be more than average in terms of size. He should be big just like you" she said seductively, cursing his muscles with her long nails.

"What do you suggest we do Precious, I'm worried about this pack"

"We should do this one thing that will save the pack, but it's up to you.".

"Anything love, I will do everything you say"

"Let's take over, you are a true leader. You will lead and protect this pack with your Luna by your side"

Marco was reluctant "Seth won't just step down"

"You will challenge him, and you will win, I should go now before one of your wolves see me"

“I don't care about your pathetic pack, you promised to kill nine girls”
