Yamkelwe and Bongeka were still making out and catching up, appreciating another chance life had given them. They then decided it was time to talk with the coterie members, they must be confused, worried and feeling neglected wherever they were.

"Sweets before we head down, I have a question," Yamkelwe asked fixing the bed.

"Ask away babe"

"Who sired you?"

"I don't know what you are talking about?" Bongeka made a promise to herself that she was going to hide her maker. She didn't want to get Kaden and Ntando in trouble.

"Sweets, we both know what I mean"
Bongeka gazed at him wanting to see if he was angry. His face looked emotionless

"Yamkelwe. You don't have to know my sire. He is not even from this coterie" Bad choice of lies!

"Oh, really?" he gave her a stern look.

"Yes. You know what? People are waiting for us so we better get going"

"Trying to ignore me won't help you Bongeka. Already you were losing control out there. You still need be to under your sire's guidance"

That wasn't a lie. During the few months of turning a new vampire should be guided by his or her maker because they'd still be bonded until a kindred is mature enough to survive on their own.

"You will guide me, you're my master anyways " Bongeka was dismal and Yamkelwe could see it through her.

"No, you're not!" His voice sounded a bit bitter.

"Baby—" She was about to ask why but Yamkelwe already anticipated the question.

"Because your sire does not belong to my coterie. Which means your master is your sire's master until the maker and kindred bond is broken"
He was just acting like that to get the truth out of Bongeka. He knew she was lying. His first suspect was Nora since she was the one who was much closer to Bongeka.

"I'm still bonded to my maker? Does that mean he can control me?"

"For a normal vampire, yes. I don't know about you. So which coterie will you join? Mine or your sire's?"

Bongeka was quite a different creature so no one could ever be sure what was to happen to her. Maybe she is not even capable of turning rogue.

Bongeka sighed "Yamkelwe, please stop with these silly questions"

Yamkelwe nodded before they went to meet their people. It took only a few minutes for them all to meet at the headquarters.

"Greetings ladies and gentlemen" Yamkelwe greeted. The vampires were nodding their heads, some waved, some bowed in acknowledgment.

"and faggots!"  that was Nkateko. That one always sought trouble.

"That's a bad word, Nkateko!" Bongeka intervened. While Yamkelwe was confused.

"Shut up you beast!" Nkateko referred to Bongeka.

"Shut up!" —Yamkelwe.

"I was still addressing you before I got rudely interrupted. I know I've been absent for a while, by that I mean ever since I came back from Norway, I've been absent. Precious, the Royal invaded my head and took control of my mind, and buried me somewhere deep around this body. Not only did she violate my privacy, but she also violated you with Bongeka. Most of you were confused, angry at how I've been treating you but the truth is, it wasn't me. It was Precious"  he explained.

There was silence for a whole before he continued...

"I hope now you see why I forbade you all from reading each other's thoughts and all. The results for invasion of privacy are never good. Now that is out of the way. Let's talk about Bongeka, my mate" he emphasized on mate, he then continued
