Turned Into A Vampire

“You must be the famous Pandora?”  Precious said cockly “let me rephrase, you must be Bongeka” she continued teasing her.

“Precious just stop!” Yamkelwe said realising that the mark is no more. Which was a doom for her and Precious.

“Shut up!” Yamkelwe kept his mouth shut, he tried to connect with Bongeka trying to read her thoughts but he couldn't.

“Now that he is out of our way, let's get straight to business. I need you to go,go and never look back” Precious commanded while putting her clothes on.
Bongeka shook his head no

“Why are you still here? He has been treating you bad, he doesn't love you. All he wants from you is power. Do you know why you can no longer control Pandora?” Precious asked, Bongeka looked at her for her to continue.

“Him” Precious pointed at Yamkelwe with her head. Bongeka's eyes shifted to Yamkelwe who was shaking his head, he looked like he wanted to say something but something was stopping him.

“Who are you, lier?

“Oh dear, it's so unfortunate you were never told about me. I'm precious, the royal vampire. His fiancé” Precious said with a grin.

“She is lying babe, right?” Bongeka looked at Yamkelwe once again with tears streaming down her cheeks. “is this true? She asked again hoping for the best.

Yamkelwe moved his mouth in an attempt to talk but instead he shook his head again.

Bongeka was confused by his unspoken answer. Shaking his head in answer of the question could mean two things, yes or no.

“Are you her fiance?” Bongeka asked. Yamkelwe shook his head again, for assurance purposes, Bongeka asked another question “She is lying right?” Yamkelwe nodded.

“Why is she not talking? What did you do to him!”

Precious gave her wicked laugh before she answered “Nothing dear, I just asked him to shut up. He listens to me all the time, everyone does. Including you”

“I won't listen to your nonsense!”

Bongeka felt the dullness again, only to realize that the mark was broken.

“Yamkelwe the mark —”  Yamkelwe cleared his throat hard, Bongeka took it as a signal to keep her mouth shut.

“What about it dear Bongeka? Let me see it”

“No! Don't you dare come near me”

Precious cat walked closer to Bongeka and looked at her firmly. “Bongeka, go and never come back” Precious  expected her to go as instructed.

“I am not going anywhere” Bongeka emphasized every word firmly as well.

Precious looked at her in shock “What is happening to her? She asked Yamkwelwe who didn't respond.

“Talk!” Precious demanded.

“I don't know Precious”

Bongeka was hurt by the fact that Precious was right about him listening to her.

“Great, not so long ago I tried speaking to you but you only communicated with your head. Now that her highness ordered you to talk to you just do that. Wow mate.” Bongeka said sarcastically.

“Mate?” Precious was rolling on the floor because of laughter.

“Mate as in soul mate?” she asked, trying to catch her breath.

“Please go” Yamkelwe said looking at Bongeka.

“Just go, trust me it's for the best”

“Baby no, you said you love me baby remember? You said you love, were you not serious?”  those words always worked in emotional blackmailing Yamkelwe.

“Just go Bongeka, go. I don't want you anymore”

“Yep, he doesn't want you anymore bye Felicia” — Precious.

Bongeka looked at Yamkelwe for the last time before exiting the room.

She couldn't hold her screams anymore, She remembered all the memories of her and Yamkelwe that were short-lived.
She slowly climbed down the stairs with wobbly legs. Few steps before she reached the floor, she tripped but Kaden who appeared from nowhere was fast enough to catch her before she fell.

“Pandora, what happened?” A concerned Kaden asked.

“He dumped me, he told me to leave, he broke the mark. He said he doesn't want me anymore. He made me love him Kaden, he made me love him. I've fallen deep for him, I can't live without him. I want him back”  she was now wailing, struggling to breath even.

“Shhh, Pandora stop crying. It  will be okay”

“No it won't, I want him only.  I want him back. Oh my goodness, he left me because I'm not a vampire”She gasped before crying again, bringing all the attention to her.

“What are you all looking at? Get the fuck out of here”Kaden shouted at the vampires that were staring. They obeyed.

“You have to go, Pandora. The mark is broken you are no longer safe”

She thought for a while before wiping her tears and gave a faint smile.

“Mark me Kaden”

“What? No—”

“No, turn me. I want to be a vampire”

“You are already a wolf. Look everyone hates you for being Pandora. How much more when you become a hybrid? Being a hybrid is a taboo”

“I don't care. He will love me when the part of me is a vampire. He is just scared that one day I will grow old and die and leave him alone. He is scared of being lonely for eternity. All I want is immortality. Just do this one thing for me”

“No Pandora, I can't. I will be banned. One thing I don't wanna become is to be a rogue. I care so much for you but I can't”

“You also hate me like all these vampires, you are monsters like each and everyone of them. If you don't do this for me  I will tell everyone that you are gay”

Kaden became pale instantly, he looked more dead than already he was.

“You don't know what you are talking about”

“Just do this for me Kaden, my mouth will be sealed. I hate Blackmailing people but I have no choice.

“That's not true. I'm not gay”

“I wonder what Ntando, your mate will react or feel when he discovers that you are denying him”

“How do you know about all this?”

“I saw you. I was looking at you exchanging saliva by the garden. I was watching you through the window”

“it's not what you think Bongeka, it was… We were —”

“You don't have to go on a tangent trying to explain yourself. I'm not homophobic”

“Fine! No one will have to know I did this”

Bongeka screamed in pain as Kaden unexpectedly sunk his fangs on her neck.
Bongeka had thought it would be good just like the marking but instead it was so painful, it was like someone was butchering her whole body. But the part of her was glad that the process didn't include intimacy. Her eyes became heavy as Kaden forced his blood onto her mouth. Few seconds later it was lights out for her.
