Apologies... I have been gone for a while because I was taking a mental health break. I'm back now, and here is the promised story

"Woah Woah Woah, lemme get this straight," Kazuichi said, holding his hands up. "You're telling me, that Nagito was not a foreign exchange student, but a boy with ginormous bird wings?!"

"And that he's been experimented on his entire life by this mysterious place called 'the School' which is actually a secret cooperation by Ivex?" Fuyuhiko added.

"And he flew away to escape the School and ended up crash landing in your backyard and you basically adopted him?" Chiaki finished. Hajime's friend group stated unblinking at him. Hajime had just explained Nagito's entire existence to them.

Hajime scratched the back of his head, nervous that his friends didn't believe him. "Umm.... yes?"

"How the hell do you expect us to believe that?!" Kazuichi yelled, loud enough for the entire lunchroom to turn their heads towards Hajime's table.

"Not so loud!" Hajime hissed. He bit his lip. He knew the question of would his friends believe him would come up. He turned his attention towards Kaz directly. "I'll prove it," he said. "I'll prove that Nagito has bird wings, but I can't right now. Come over to the house I'm staying at later tonight and I'll show you." Hajime couldn't risk bringing his evidence to school.

"You say the house you're staying at," Sonia said. "Does your quick location change have anything to do with Nagito's strange heritage?"

"Yeah," Hajime nodded. "But I'll get to that in a minute."

"Ok, say that we believe you and that Nagito is in fact a lab experiment and has bird wings. What does that have to do with us?" Fuyuhiko sighed.

"Well, as you can see, he isn't here," Hajime said, his heart breaking a little. He missed Nagito terribly, which is why he planned on getting his friend group involved to help get him back. Hajime needed all hands on deck.

"Maybe he ran off?" Sonia suggested.

"Or flew off," Fuyuhiko scoffed. Hajime was shocked his friends thought so little of Nagito. But before he was going to sternly correct them, Chiaki jumped in, saying, "Oh come on guys, Nagito isn't like that. He was a terrific friend, he cared about us a lot. He wouldn't just run away." Hajime gave Chiaki a silent cheer.

Hajime's friends nodded in agreement to Chiaki's statement, and Hajime continued. "Well, the truth is, Nagito didn't run off. He was captured by Ivex so they could keep experimenting on him." Looks of shock spread to all of his friends, but Kazuichi shook his head clear and said, "How the hell do you know that? It's not like Nagito could have told you! Where's your evidence?"

"My evidence was that the word Ivex was on the bomb that was planted in my house before it blew up!" Hajime countered. That shut Kazuichi up.

"Th-they blew up your house?!" Sonia asked, clearly as shocked as the rest of the friend group. Hajime nodded solemnly. "Ivex, or the School, wanted to make sure my mom and I were permanently silenced so we didn't disclose anything we knew about the School to the public." Then Hajime grinned. "Well, they're good at illegally experimenting on humans, but they suck at blowing people up because my mom and I both got away in one piece." The friend group was silent for a bit before Fuyuhiko asked, "So what do you want us to do?"

"I need a plan," Hajime started. "I know where Nagito is. There's this place called the Ivex research facility. I'm sure that's where the experimenting takes place. I'm sure that's where Nagito is."

"Have you ever been inside?" Chiaki asked.

"Er... no," Hajime stared at the table. Sighs of disappointment echoed around him. "Look you need to have some sort of pass to prove that you're an Ivex doctor to get in and my mom and I clearly aren't Ivex doctors!" Hajime tried defending himself. "So that's where I need you guys! I need you to help me find a way in so I can get Nagito!"
