The site of a huge ship hovered up in view as the duo neared the dazzling view of the grand Darling Harbour. Aiden's car decelerated its speed as it neared the parking area. Sasha sighed out mesmerized, as always, at the view of the gleaming city lights reflecting on the crystal clear river surface characterising it as no less than a wonder.
Aiden turned his head to the side to the grasp the sight of Sasha slightly smiling to herself in awe, lost into beauty of the collision of artificial and natural beauty. The lights which illuminated the area reflected on her face, making it glow under it as her eye twinkled in astonishment. Aiden couldn't help but feel a giddy sensation in the pit of his stomach at the beauty before him. Blame it on human nature for generating strange feelings when something unusual comes before them.
"We're here" He announced interrupting her appreciation session.
Sasha blinked her eyes rapidly at Aiden's call and turned to him with a grin protruding out of her face. Aiden returned the gesture and hopped off the car with Sasha following his actions. Aiden walked over to the front of the car waiting for Sasha, so that they could take the stroll together.
"So where is this club?" Sasha asked making exaggerated gestures with her hands.
"It's not really a club. It's more like a restaurant cum beer shop. Nothing too serious Miss two goody shoes" Aiden said with an eye roll complementing his statement.
"Proud to be one" Sasha spoke with a smirk making Aiden chuckle.
Sasha was walking side to side with Aiden at such a late hour of the night, something she had only dreamt of. The reality seemed surreal, the presence felt odd. Her mind went back to the trip she had with Spencer, it was a lot more loud than this, filled with silly comments and eccentric activities. Her eyes roamed around the Ferris wheel which was now turned off, infront of which they had a long silly conversation.
"What's on your mind?" Aiden asked feeling curious of the now silent girl.
"Nothing much" Sasha said not willing elaborate further.
"Come on spill!" Aiden urged feeling curious
"Nothing special, just thinking about this afternoon" Sasha said not wanting to stretch the topic further.
"Afternoon?" Aiden as the curiosity within him rose.
"Yeah" Sasha shortly answers to avoid the her tea from being spilled to someone who doesn't take information about her in the best way.
"What happened then?" Aiden asked aiming to keep the conversation alive
"I just visited this place with Spencer" Sasha replied in a nonchalant way, attempting to make it look as if it's nothing serious.
"Oh" Aiden ended the conversation just there with a thought rolling in the back of his mind.
'Of course you did'
