Lights of the mansion sneaked in through the large front glass of the expensive black Lamborghini Urus, making the faces of the people evident to one another. Sasha's eyes gazed softly with gratitude flooding them, at the male who gave her a small smile of reassurance. Arbitrarily, she started feeling emotional at the scenario playing; it felt like a scene from a romantic movie that came to life. She was feeling the main-character moment in her subconscious mind and was loving every inch of it.

"Thank you" She spoke softly making him smile wider at her.

"But there is something I should warn you of" He interrupted her train of thoughts bringing her attention to the alarming words.

"My mom might be a little hostile towards you. Initially! Because..." He huffed a distressed sigh

"Because?" Sasha asked back feeling curious

"Nicole wasn't exactly the best to them. So my mom is a little reluctant this time but not to worry. You should be good" Aiden said with a lump forming in his throat at the reminiscence of the incidents between Nicole and her family.

Nicole had always been arrogant and nonchalant, especially when it comes to interacting with Aiden's parents, she always tried to establish her superior control over him which made Olivia Morgan become not so fond of her, and this had created distance between Aiden and his family given he always favoured Nicole. Additionally, her reluctant behaviour towards his younger sister made her seem more unlikeable to the Morgan family. Hence, throughout the relationship with Nicole, Aiden drifted apart from his family. Fortunately enough, Sasha knew how to behave, so that was the least of her worries.

"Shall we?" Aiden asked breaking the pregnant silence which drifted Sasha off to her train of thoughts.

"Yeah sure," She replied fixing her hair whilst taking a deep breath to calm down her wildly beating heart.

Sasha stepped out of the car, carefully closing the door ar the tip of her heel tapped against the surface making a clanking noise as she made her towards Aiden. He had his hand extended out for Sasha to reach out to, which she gladly did. He gave her a small squeeze of encouragement to which she responded with a tight-lipped smile before they began to head towards the mansion which gracefully stood in its place only screaming royalty. The modern exterior of the mansion and the intricate designs which accompanied it was more than enough to help make it recognised as one of the most well-known home designs around the country. Soon they were near the entry area, which Sasha had not visited formerly as the party was held in the backyard. It was a grey and rocky pathway with lush green grass on either side of the lawn and in the middle of that was a huge mahogany wooden door with simple gold ornamentation. Their wealth was indeed no joke.

"Ready?" Aiden asked one last time looking at the frantic girl beside him which he replied with a nod and rang the doorbell.

Sasha clutched onto Aiden's hand as if her life depended on it. This was a new feeling. The only person she ever was in a relationship with was Aiden, and it was him all over again. Hence she never experienced such instances where you have to meet their parents. However, this surreal situation she was in made her feel that Aiden might actually be serious about her and maybe thinking in the long term. This made her feel all giddy.
