A fire of curiousity ignited within him as he pranced through the moderately busy hallways of the University. His mind distorted into a mayhem of unanswered questions which he was determined to get answers of by today.
He soon reached the field of the seating area for the students. The lush green grass and the dark brown trunk of the tree complemented by multicoloured flowers and green leaves really radiated a calm aura. Aiden's insides contrasted the feeling. It was just pure chaos. His blazing eyes scanned the area of numerous students, in intention to find the one that could clear all the mess with just few answers. He soon found his group of friends chatting with eachother, as he began to match towards them unintentionally intending to put an end to their joy.
"Oh hey Aiden!" Aria said excited to see her friend but the odd expression his face wore made her frown a little.
Aiden's eyes temporarily flickered to Nicole who just glanced at him slightly before going back to talking to Nathan, who seemed to be saying something so enrapturing that she did not bother sparing a glance. In normal times, her reaction might have triggered him but right now his mind was occupied by something else.
"Thea come out I need to talk to you" Aiden said with a curt tone, silencing each and everyone who was formerly enjoying.
All attention was on him, absolutely taken aback by the sudden behaviour. Aiden stared at the girl with a hard glare, while the redhead squirmed under his stare, face slightly paled at the thought of the outcome.
"What's wrong Aiden?" Asher questioned worried about his friends behaviour.
"Thea, I don't have all day. So if you could please be kind enough to come along" Aiden spoke in a warning tone.
Nicole's attention was now on Aiden. By the look on his face, he was here to enquire something. After being with him for two years, she was well aware of his behaviour despite her not caring about it after a certain time. Her feelings reciprocated that of the crowd. She wondered what had the brown eyed hunk this furious.
"Okay..." Thea said standing up, playing with the edges of her hair slightly, clearly intimidated.
Aiden turned his heels to the opposite direction and began to walk towards the empty bench by the tree which was quite far away from the prying eyes of the crowd. The bench somewhat made him feel a strange wave of electricity.
It was the bench where Spencer and Sasha had their conversation yesterday.
He felt somewhat triggered when he saw them yesterday. Like a boxer feeling as if another hit would make him loose the match. However, when she mentioned how she had rejected his confession, it made an eccentric satisfaction flush through him. He felt like a child fighting with his sworn enemy in the kindergarten over the best toy to play with.
Later his thoughts made him feel like a hypocrite as he remembered Sasha's words. He was indeed treating her like a toy and she pointed it out right on spot. It surprised him to no end, how she could interpret his feelings just with a snap of her fingers.
