A coat of puzzlement painted Sasha's angular features

A coat of puzzlement painted Sasha's angular features. Her mind made several attempts to calculate the occurring scene but it seemed to be blocked out from any probable scenario. Ever since she had discovered the actual status of their relationship, her mind preferred to remain rational and rather oblivious of any unwanted emotions.

"And why is that?" She challenged raising an eyebrow in question to his arbitrary request.

Aiden looked at her with droopy eyes that stared in dead seriousness. The power his frown formerly held was replaced by his eyes which were digging holes through her head, trying their best to establish the unrecognized dominance.

"Because I said so" Aiden answered with gritted teeth, clenching his jaw sharper than it already was.

Sasha's confusion elevated further at his sudden change in behaviour. It was getting more and more difficult for her to interpret him. She assumed she knew everything that was required for her to know about him. However, as they say, yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery and today is a gift. She seems to discover a new side of him every single day, and it startles her to no end. Sasha tried her best to maintain her calm, throwing an equally shrewd expression before asking.

"And who do you think you are to say that?"

Just that sentence was enough to make Aiden lose his patience, as he slammed his palm on the wall behind her caging in between. Sasha flinched at his gesture, clutching her forearms tighter to herself as his frown was seemingly getting deeper.

"Sasha you are my girlfriend. You are not supposed to be getting so comfortable with other guys" Aiden calmly let out the words.

A string was however pulled at the mention of the word "girlfriend". A wave of anguish flew through her veins as she recalled herself going demented in the attempt of trying to gain that one title. Now, this was nothing but just an agonizing facade of pretense, to instigate the one his heart longed for.

"Girlfriend?" A scoff left Sasha's mouth.

"Aiden. I am your girlfriend only in front of Nicole, nowhere else. I am just a pawn in your game to get back at her, nothing more. You have no right to tell me off about whom I speak to or what I do" Sasha raged on as she felt wronged in the scenario.

A nerve hit Aiden, as he came to his senses slowly realizing what he was doing. This time confusion hit him at his own actions, trying to comprehend his feeling but his anger had blinded him way too much to let that side dominate.

"Look, Nicole observes us okay? What if she sees you with Spencer and thinks otherwise about our relationship? The whole plan will be ruined" He tried to reason but none of that made sense.

Sasha stared at him for a good minute. Before scoffing once again, puzzling the scowling man who stood before her.

"First of all, I no more do anything doubtful in front of Nicole as I am well aware of the circumstances. Secondly..." Sasha took a pause, sucking in a deep breath before responding.
