A thick air of tension suffocated Sasha, as she slipped into her black t-shirt and the jeans which complimented the colour. For the first time, she was going to perform a sneaky act. An act of disobedience which she didn't do in her lifetime till now.
As usual, all her acts of disobedience associate around the brown eyed hunk who had the charm to convince her to take actions which she formerly disagreed to.
A huff left her lips as she acutely stared at herself which would remain the not so good girl in a few minutes. Shaking her head from side to side in disappointment she felt in herself, for once again giving into the crazy desires of her heart. Quietly picking up her small clutch bag, which had a small comb, some lip gloss, her phone and bit of money. As much as she would love to do makeup but the male gave her no time and neither was she too good at it. She opened the door in a casual manner to avoid any sort of suspicion from her mother who was no less than a hawk. Walking across the hallway, she looked at her parents door.
"I am sorry" She said before turning her heels towards the stairs below which was the highway to hell, where the Satan waited not so patiently.
Her palms sweaty with the amount of strain her mind was going through at the moment. Just like sea pulling in everything it can during times of low tide, he was sucking her in with his invisible sorcery.
The night felt darker than usual, the moon seemed to shine brighter than usual attracting all the attention to itself. As if the nature was aiding them in their night getaway.
Sasha opened the door with tranquility and stepped out with jittered steps. Looking back at the house to make sure, no one stood at the window scowling at her. When she saw the base was clear, her eyes diverted ahead to have her breath taken away.
There he stood with an air of superiority wafting around, looking unexplainably dashing under the stunning moonlight. His head turned to the right focused on nothing specific with his jaw flexed into a perfect degree, while pockets of his pants covered the sight of his veiny hands. He was a full course meal which she unfortunately could not afford.
The sound of Sasha's sneakers brushing against the leveled concrete had seemed to take the attention of the brown eyed adonis as he straightened his posture watching her gravitate towards him, with a smirk. He opened the door for her to enter his expensive ride still withholding a mocking smirk at the fact that he was well able to convince her.
Sasha entered took her place in the car seat whilst giving him a small glare which he simply shrugged off with a smile. Closing the door, he jogged over to the other side of the car and entered.
"We are matching outfits" He said in a teasing voice
"Shut up" Sasha said putting on her seatbelt an action which he replicated.
With that the car started with Aiden, turning the radio to lighten up the mood of the now grumpy girl. The song "Peaches" made its arrival in the show as Aiden's fingers began to drum the steering wheel matching the beat.
"How long are you going to sulk?" Aiden asked the grumpy girl who looked outside the window without uttering a word.
"Sasha?" He called out
"What?!" Sasha snapped back at him feeling a mixture of anxiety and fury within herself.
"Come on Sasha! Let's get over it! We are here to enjoy yeah?" Aiden tried to convince Sasha who seemed to be mad at him for calling her up at this late hour.
"If you wanted to enjoy, you could have waited till morning or afternoon. Why in the middle of the night?!" Sasha snapped at him once again
"Cause the fun of the day makes it's might arrival at the dark hour of the night" He said with a small chuckle
"You're crazy" Sasha huffed out.
"Atleast I am not kidnapping you right" He said with a smile looking at her.
Like a domino effect Sasha had fell for his smile too, flashing a compressed smile herself. Her eyes held a divine sparkle which never failed to enthrall the male. No matter how much he had despised her in the past, he always found himself staring at the gloss of her mesmerising eyes.
"Where are you taking me?" Sasha asked feeling curious
"Somewhere near your favourite place" Aiden answered
"My favourite place?" Sasha asked back slightly confused and curious as to what he had declared to be her favourite place.
"Yes. We are going to Darling Harbour" He replied giving her a short glance.
A feeling of ecstasy erupted within Sasha at the fact that he remembered her favourites till date. This unexpected gesture of his had warmed her heart thinking that maybe he did have her in his mind for the past few years.
"You still remember?" Sasha asked with a chuckle as of it was a light matter but deep inside she was screaming.
"Yes! Remember back then we would go there to have ice cream, and you slipped on a plastic and fell" Aiden spoke letting out a hearty laugh.
"Don't remind me" Sasha said looking away as embarrassment seeped into her being.
Aiden began to laugh hysterically in reminiscent. Sasha on the other hand had a bright shade of crimson.
"Shut up will you!" Sasha grumbled
"Okay sorry sorry!" Aiden said finishing his last bit of laughter.
"Anywhere specific?" Sasha asked wanting to know the exact location.
"There is restaurant in there which has this club like vibe to it. Nothing really extravagant but fun" He answered casually
"A club?!" Sasha asked slightly terrified at the thought from the stories she had heard.
"Stop overthinking Sasha, it's not even a real club" Aiden said trying to calm her down.
"But still..." She said feeling unsure.
"I see you still haven't gotten over this habit of overthinking. How has your mind not exploded yet?" He teased her.
"You know they say who overthink or worry too much have advanced critical thinking ability and intellect" Sasha spat out a random fact to defend her trait.
"Yeah no doubt on that, but not to the point you lose your mind about it!"
"I don't lose my mind!" Sasha defended herself
"Sweetheart a simple wind blowing makes you overthink that's it's a cyclone" Aiden said in an animated voice
"Whatever"
The car then fell into silence as they both got lost into their own world thinking of different things that had happened throughout the times things were normal.
"You know..." Aiden started his voice trailing off for a moment as if he was thinking of the right words to choose.
"Recently I have been having this thought" He said not looking at Sasha, his focus fixed on the road.
"I wish I had investigated the situation a little better before judging you" He confessed.
Sasha's lips parted at the sentence he just let out. Never had she thought someone as egoistic and stubborn as Aiden Morgan would admit to his mistakes. Such a scene would only play in her imagination, so having the chance to experience it reality is a whole new shock for her.
"Then maybe we would have had more of such funny situations to recall" He said his voice having a hint of sadness.
The next sentence which he let out was enough to make Sasha fall from the sky.
"Maybe if I had treated you better, life would have been better too"
