The view of the homely neighbourhoods of Artamon became more and more visible as the car progressed through the roads creating friction against the concrete. It was almost time for lights out in most households, only clattering of crockeries could be heard given it was after dinner dishwashing session. The streets of the beautiful neighbourhood looked idyllic under the gorgeous moonlight that savoured it.
The car was infused with the anxiousness of the coming scenario that was near at a painstakingly fast rate. It was either a do or die situation, with no in hanging in between. The car soon halted before a similar homely house which Sasha identified as hers, making Aiden place his elbow on the window dash and rub his temples. He was genuinely afraid of what her mother would do, given that the history of the things he had done to Sasha was not exactly positive.
"Hey, it'll be alright. She won't be too excited I hope" Sasha consoled holding his hand in hers, giving it a light caress.
"I bet she will be. She has all the right to be!" Aiden exclaimed
"Why do you say that?" Sasha furrowed her eyebrows puzzled at his statement.
"Look Sasha," Aiden said turning to the girl and taking her hands in his, as Sasha flashed him her innocent eyes which subconsciously appear when she is concentrating.
"The things I have done with you started from humiliating to mass cornering. They were not all something that a person would take normally, right? And it's your mother. She definitely won't take me normally, and she has the right to be angry at me" Aiden explained while Sasha's heart fluttered to an extent at the fact that Aiden was admitting to his mistakes.
"Hey, it's okay. I'll be here to support you right? So, no worries at all" Sasha attempted to console but it came out way may more formal than intended.
"You sound like a teacher counselling a student" Aiden chuckled at Sasha running his fingers through her hair. The latter felt a blush creep up her cheeks at his gesture.
"Shall we?" Aiden spoke sighing in defeat to which Sasha nodded.
Sasha nodded and opened her side of the car door to step out. The lights of her house were still turned on indicating the preparation for the show time was done. Sasha felt a queer feeling in the pit of her stomach. Yet another first with the brown-haired hunk who was walking beside her, somewhat sweating in tension. She just wished; this would be her last. Soon the doorbells rang as an indication for the eventful hour to begin and the door swung open with a tall, fair-skinned man and large yet angular eyes looking back at the two.
"Hey Dad" Sasha greeted slightly nervous, and the one standing beside her slightly gulped at the title she addressed the man with.
"Oh, Sasha! Welcome back home" The man smiled comically at his daughter making Sasha sigh in relief as she hugged her father. Her father had seemed to notice the male standing beside her and furrowed his eyebrows.
