Heartbeat. Something which if taken medically is considered to be just an organ to pump blood and survive. Emotionally, possession is given to people we love. It can be divided into pieces for different people or be fully given to someone to take care of it. Sasha had given it to someone fully, only to have it broken by the person himself. Her heartbeat increased with every second that passed by like a flying wind going into an unintended direction, without any care in the world. Little did the time know that each second it allowed to pass was a detriment to the brunette standing frozen.
It hurt. The pain she had bandaged within the fake smile she puts on, had once again started to ache. Sasha felt her longing heart shatter to pieces as she finally heard him speak to her, after four long years. Four years of emptiness, four years of mental torture and four years of desperation. But why did she feel her heartbreak? The walls she was building to desperately get over with it, were broken by the sound of his voice without any effort, like a strong soundwave breaking a weak glass into shreds, leaving behind the pieces to be picked up. All he had to was speak. That's all that took to break her. Sasha couldn't help but feel embarrassed at how pathetic she is. How he could make her feel all kinds of ways just by the sound of his voice.
Sasha had a mental war over the decision. The grip on the book getting tighter, as dilemma was making its tour lavishly around her head, messing up her emotions on the way. The decision was to turn around and face it or just leave without any further discussions. Sasha leaned towards the latter. Sasha took the first step and began to walk away.
But to her surprise, she felt herself moving backwards with a tremendously tight grip on her arm. She felt her rigid back hit the white wall as she came face to face with the infuriated boy.
The light from the hallway shone on his tanned skin making him look like an ethereal monster to her. The light gave his menacingly beautiful brown orbs their own glow. His hair was a mess as he looked at the cowering girl with nothing but fury. His large hands hit the wall beside which Sasha was standing, making her trapped between his arms.
"Are you happy now? That I am suffering? That you get to see the show?" He said in a low voice as he looked at her.
His fiery eyes held nothing but a pure look of distrust and hatred. Aura taller than height, he gave off a vibe of nothing but venomous rage. Sasha did not utter a word. Despite the angered male standing in front of her, she did not feel scared of what he could do to her cause the emotional damage he had done is much worse than any other harm he could inflict on her. As ridiculous as it sounded it was nothing but outright veracity. Sasha just simply stared with a gaze that was incomprehensible to him. He doesn't know and won't know what that gaze meant, to him it was just a simple stare. Only the one holding the gaze knows what it meant and the depth it held.
"What? Are you going to throw a party today? "Yay! Aiden got his heartbroken and he is in misery" huh? Are you!?" Aiden asked in a mocking tone.
