Sasha tapped out of her imagination as she saw fingers clicking before her. She slightly flinches to find Aiden looking back at her with concern-coated eyes. It took her a moment to process the whole situation before realizing that she had slipped off into her dreams in the middle of the conversation. She recalled the contents, and it caused a constricting pain in her heart knowing this would never become reality. She gulped slightly and cleared her throat.

"Are you okay?" Aiden asked again to attain reassurance.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Why are you here again?"

"I just wanted to clear things out with you" Aiden said rubbing his palm on his neck.

"What do you need?" Sasha retorted crossing her arms and looking at him with cold eyes.

"Sasha, do you mind letting me speak?" Aiden mentioned being agitated by her constant hedges.

Sasha's nerved cracked at the unmitigated audacity of this man to come to apparently clear the waters after all that he had done. Although confusion still flooded her brain on why he got so possessive all of a sudden, she didn't want to make assumptions quickly—done that and been there.

"Don't raise your voice at me Morgan" She spoke to a chillingly calm voice sending shivers down Aiden's spine.

"I'm not Sasha..." He explained quietly maintaining a moment of silence before he was given a cue to speak again.
Sasha Kavinsky was a dominant woman who did not like when someone overruled her. Aiden was no less of a person dominant himself. Probably the seeming similarity which caused probable clashes is what their relationship is composed of.

"Go ahead" Sasha spoke again reduplicating the voice she had used formerly.

"Okay look. I didn't mean to act the way I did, but I guess it was just an act of impulse I honestly don't know what happened to me. I know what I did was wrong, I shouldn't have invaded your private space and I promise not to repeat that" Aiden spoke in one go not allowing Sasha to interrupt his speech.

Sasha's mind broke into splits of reactions. A part of her felt anxious as her instincts hit that this won't be the first apology he'll be making in the coming times. A heart-wrenching feeling hit her too as she looked at his face which seemed so flawless and innocent under the silver moon that reflected on his face making him appear as the divine Adonis. To her dismay, this very beauty which she relished is what wrote her doom. The destroyer of her emotions, the one who disregards her genuine heart amid his selfish desires.

"Hmm good. I guess we are done then. See you tomorrow" Sasha said bringing out a ten-dollar bill to pay for the drink she purchased and gently placing it on the table before walking up.

Aiden was taken aback by the arbitrary action but quickly got a hold of himself and followed behind her. Sasha did not bother to look back whether he was following behind or not and walked ahead thoughtlessly.
