A feeling of delight washed over Sasha as she inhaled the tantalising smell of the food before. Without thinking any further she dug into her lunch not noticing the number of eyes which stared at her in absolute curiousity. It was when she had stuffed her mouth with enough food which made her cheeks look fluffy that she noticed her friends looking at her with eyes full of questions.
Sasha cocked an eyebrow at their curious eyes making them sigh.
"What?" She asked
"Mind explaining what happened a while back?" Amelia charged at her.
"What happened?" Sasha replied with equal nonchalance.
"Sasha..." Noelle said in a somewhat strict tone.
Sasha gulped down her food clearly understanding what they were referring to but she remained reluctant to provide them with answers.
"Noelle..." She mimicked her behaviour making Noelle crack into a smile.
"I am serious" She said returning her face back to strict one.
"I am too" Sasha replied taking a bite of her potato wedges which tasted no less than heaven to her as the well baked potato melted in her mouth.
"Sasha!" Amelia said with a warning tone making Sasha back off from her joking self.
"Okay! Fine fine! Sorry" She said rolling her eyes slightly.
"Okay. Now spit it out. What exactly happened between you two?" Amelia interrogated.
"Which two?" Sasha said trying to pushback the conversation.
"You and Aiden" Noelle said patiently.
"What would happen? I bumped into him in the hallway and we spoke our way till here that's it" Sasha spoke the partial truth.
She glanced at her friends who were unconvinced by her vague explanation.
"Sasha, you know you can share everything with us right?" Aaron spoke suddenly with a sympathetic expression.
Sasha looked at him and flashed a small akward smile. He was her bestfriend and she trusted him wholeheartedly but this was something she wanted to keep to herself. A secret between him and her. Them only.
"I know" Sasha replied in a comical way trying to shrug off the conversation
To her relief, they did not stretch the talk and diverted it to something absolutely different. Sasha let out a breath of relaxation, bringing her focus back in the untouched food which begged to devoured. Temporarily her eyes flickered to Spencer who sat beside her in absolute silence, glaring at his food which cowered under the cover of plastic. A frown took over her features as she placed her hand over his toned arms making him flinch and look at her.
"Are you okay?" She asked concerned.
She witnessed a contrasting emotion travel through his grey eyes, an emotion which presented formidable ferociousness. Sasha was startled at the sudden change. His eyes were something that she always admired, but viewing such a cold look had truly taken her surprise.
