The faint noise of the friction of the car wheels against the concrete rushed through the car but it failed to capture the attention of the two as they were lost in the reminiscence of the old times. The night was drawing near to the finish line as the view of the sophisticated Atarmon came closer.

The exterior of the houses getting more and more familiar as the car took its steps forward. Sasha's mind scattered into a turmoil of delight, confusion and excitement, unable to decipher any of the events that had happened today. The convenience store came into the periphery as she turned to the male sitting beside her.

"Can you please stop the car here?" She pointed to the front of the convenience store and he obliged.

"Why?" He asked confused whilst parking it right there.

"I don't think you dropping me off right before my house is a good idea. What if mom is awake?" She said rhetorically.

"And I can buy some snacks in case she asks what I was doing out in the middle of the night. I can't say that the devil kidnapped me right?" She said sardonically making Aiden chuckle.

Sasha got rid of the seatbelt which caged her to the seat and turned to Aiden with a shy smile of gratitude.

"Thanks for tonight. It was fun"

"Woah. Didn't know you knew how to say thank you? I am flattered!" Aiden said placing his hand on the left side of his chest, acting dramatically.

"Whatever. Bye" Sasha rolled her eyes opening the door to step out.

An abrupt grip on her wrist made her take a reverse step from her intended direction. She turned around to see Aiden looking at her with a flirtatious look. She wasn't granted a second to process what was going on when he leaned in and pecked her cheek, retreating his hand back with his infamous smirk on display.

"Good night Kavinsky" Arrogance dripping from his tone like a sweet which had just been picked up from a fondue.

Sasha maintained a smile to show that it had no effect on her and stepped out. Unfortunately, he knew her tactics well enough to be affected by the nonchalance, so ignorance was the key.

Sasha closed the door of the car trying her best to ignore her heartbeat which was going at an insanely fast speed while Aiden watched her in amusement. Sasha glanced at him to flash a small smile of farewell to which he slightly waved, before turning away to the convenience store door.

A deep breath escaped her lips as she heard the vague noise of the car creating a friction with the concrete. It was a signal that he had left. Huffing to herself, she randomly walked to the aisle filled with chips and drinks for her to pick up as an excuse to present to her mother. Thankfully, the side of her bag had some money which she could put to use.

Automatically, her hands reached out for her favourite packet of chips as she stuffed in few packets in her hand, before moving to the basket which laid by the shelf. Placing them onto the basket, her legs moved towards the freezer containing drinks from which she picked up two. Sighing in satisfaction at her purchases, her legs thoughtlessly travelled to the counter for making a payment.
