Sasha pouted slightly and ended up standing on the spot beside him making him glance at her. The moonlight that shone upon her porcelain skin made her look ethereal and the royal blue outfit only did justice to it. Aiden found himself staring at her for a good minute before diverting his stare to the former position.

"Yeah she is a nice girl" Sasha answered honestly.

"That's great," Aiden said

"Where is your room?" Sasha asked suddenly feeling curious about the placement and the interior of his room.

In her imagination, she expected a blueish room with a manly essence radiating from the corners.

"I don't live here" Aiden simply answered

"Then where do you live?" Sasha asked slightly puzzled at the statement made by the hunk.

"I live in my apartment close to the university" Aiden said turning to the girl, with an elbow placed on the railing while the other played with the fingers of the other hand.

"Oh I see" Sasha responded not wanting to be nosy

Aiden suddenly straightened his posture standing at a dangerously close distance with Sasha making her slightly shake-up at the arbitrary occurrence. A gulp made its way down her throat as she began to bite her lips causing blood to rush up to them, making a shade of dark pink overtake her lips. A masculine urge to overtake those lips dominated Aiden, his hands travelled to her jaw making the female part of her lips provide an opportunity for the hunk to taste his desires.

Aiden's hands progressed down to her waist skillfully snaking it around her thin waist, pulling her closer while Sasha's hands tightly gripped his shirt as their lips moved in sync with one other. Aiden seemed to become Sasha's first in a couple of things. This time, he was her first kiss under the grace of the moon. Soon the couple ran out of breath compelling them to part their lips but their foreheads remained attached with Sasha's palms placed flat on his chest. They exchanged breaths with one another, still, their eyes closed. As soon as their sense entered their minds, Aiden flashed a smile to the girl in his arms.

"Thanks" He muttered making Sasha confused once again.

"For?" She enquired.

"For being nice to everyone in my family. You know experience had them all have their guards up, I am glad you could mingle with them so easily" Aiden answered looking at her, who was now playing with his shirt with her lower lip out.

"You're welcome. It's not me only though, they are equally nice people" Sasha smiled at him softly making Aiden feel warm.

"Sasha..." Aiden suddenly spoke creating suspense

"What if I say..." He took pauses between his words as mixtures of emotions swirled within Sasha.

"I want to consider us in the long term" Aiden finally dropped the bomb looking into her eyes.

The brown oceans stared at each other for what seemed like forever, trying to exchange emotions as much as possible. Sasha let out yet another soft smile before placing her head on his chest hugging him tighter.

"Then..." It was now her turn to take pauses

"I would gladly help you achieve that" She answered making a relieved smile split over his face.

The moment of fondness and comfort was interrupted by Evelyn peeking her head out of the entrance door with a teasing smirk.

"Hello, love birds, sorry to disturb but the food is ready" She spoke once again wriggling her eyebrows making Sasha chuckle while Aiden rolled his eyes.

"We're coming" He answered as Sasha let go of him and began to follow him out.

In the dining area, Sasha noticed the grand arrangement by the Morgan family where the crockeries, which were ceramic with surrounding Chinaware design and shining bright silver cutleries were placed. The menu for the day was tenderloin steak with Asian fried rice, mashed potatoes and carbonara pasta on the side. Sasha was stunned by the level of grandeur but later figured it to be normal given their family status. A certain wave of inferiority rushed through her as she could only imagine having these for extremely special occasions but brushed it off as soon as it came.

"Mrs Morgan you didn't have to take so much trouble," Sasha said scrunching her shoulders slightly

"Oh, no worries at all! That's the least we do!" Olivia smiled at the girl who reciprocated the gesture.

Olivia had been assessing Sasha's behaviour from the moment she stepped in, and to her delight, Sasha was quite a polite and amiable-natured person. Everyone sat down at the table and began to devour the tantalizing menu of the day.

"So Sasha, what career path are you considering?" Archer asked the girl

"I want to go into financial journalism since I love researching and editorial work has my interest" Sasha awkwardly answered taking a glance at Olivia who seemed to become interested.

"I am so happy to hear that! Let me know if you need any help!" Olivia exclaimed

"Surely. Thank you, ma'am" Sasha answered and looked at Aiden, earning a smile

"Oh! Drop the formality just call me Olivia"

"I love to see someone who has a set target. Unlike some others, I met formerly" Olivia spoke throwing a sharp look at Aiden whose expression hardened.

It hurt Sasha to see those insults thrown toward Nicole still affect Aiden. She swallowed down her feelings and continued to eat with a smile. The night came to an end as the couple started to make their way out of the place to head towards an intended destination.

"Thank you so much for coming! It was a delight to meet you" Olivia said hugging Sasha

"Thank you for inviting me," Sasha said throwing yet another sweet smile to the woman.

She turned to Evelyn who was already beaming at her and hugged her before giggling slightly about Evelyn's whining. After bidding farewell to the whole family, they finally left for the car and sat. The night was not over rather the most dangerous part of the night was still left: Meeting Sasha's parents.

"Are you ready?" Sasha asked with an apologetic and nervous expression. Aiden turned to her with a smile before saying.

"I might not make out alive tonight"
