When Akemi woke, he felt empty. Like there was no trace of himself left in the hollow shell of a body he wore. No, that's not right. More like, he'd forgotten how he acted. Forgotten himself.
What... what dꂦꍟꌗ ꍏꀘꍟꂵꀤ ꍏꉓ꓄ ꒒ꀤꀘꍟ?
The boy stood from his bed, the weight of his own body startling him. His height too. For some strange reason, he couldn't recall being so short, nor so heavy.
Ⱳɦąƭ? Ɲօ. I ąƖɾҽąɗყ ƙղօⱳ ƭɦąƭ.
JɄ₴₮... JɄ₴₮ ₭ɆɆ₱ ₲ุł₦₲.
Akemi locked views with his lilac eyes in the mirror behind his bed, blinking himself truly awake. He felt the kind-hearted, loving, waiting for that opportunity to joke part of himself swell in his chest, his own personality hitting him like a ton of bricks. Shaking his head, he recalled what he did in the morning.
Go to breakfast with his friends.
Right.
Akemi trekked down the stairs and to the cafeteria, opening it to reveal the people he had come to know as his friends.
Angry, fiery Usagi, the ever stoic ever silent Koto, Taro and tiny, shy Yutio.
Akemi smiled at this cast of characters. Though they'd lost so many, they always had each other right?
