"Good Evening, Doctor Stanley Freeman." Ross greeted. "We had an agreement." Stan said, holding tight on the knob. "I know but I'm your client. I wish to see the progress, who knows? I might give you a tip if you give a peek."

"The offer is enough. Good night." Stan closes the door and locks it.

Ross stands there for another five minutes, not moving a muscle, just listening to what his ears can hear while staring at the metal door in front of him.

The footsteps walks away fading the farther it goes. It was followed by a metal screech, of what seemed an object being pulled across the floor and then a clank in a tile.

The rest of it aside from the steps were flipping pages, clinking of glasses, clearing throat, coughing, sniffing, varieties of thuds coming from what he believed - different types of objects in the lab and fast clicking from the keyboard.

His phone vibrates and when he look at it, there was a message from Gary.

Gary,

The girl was last seen on a pet shop with a celebrity. I went to the police station, we're not the only ones who had an interest. Chelsea had a good lead, see you on the diner.

In a screen, Stan watches Ross for a minute. After looking at his phone for a moment, he glances at the door then left. He waited for another five minutes since he knows Ross has a habit of returning either because he forgot something or it is part of his agenda.

"He's gone." Stan said, knees bent looking under the table. Saffron crawls out with caution. Both glance at the monitor and let out a huge sign of relief.

. . . . . . .

"Her name is y/n and she is- from what I've heard, a tourist. I wasn't the one in charge when she was brought into the hospital but during a meeting with the director, he said that anyone can take the case and will be granted a reward from a private company and the government if it becomes successful." Saffron said, Stan is sitting opposite to her eating crackers while listening.

"About her condition... She was poisoned and it spread in her body fast. It was a miracle.. Everybody in the room thought she was going to die. Here." Saffron said, then puts the sample on the table.

Stan paused chewing the crackers and stares closely at the test tube with cork. "My last findings revealed that it has three phases, the first-"

"It turns to blue." Stan cuts her off. She looks at him. "How do you know?"

"What have I done?" He asks himself, eyes wide, looking up, recalling. And then he remembered something.

*Flashback*

Stan gives a tiny improvised glass to Ross. "I tested that on a mice and as discussed, the results lead to your requests." Ross observes the tube and the dark blue liquid changing from purple to black depending on which way he tilts.

"Very well." He smiled. "How many?"

"I was able to replicate seven because i'm sure you will need an extra for testing." Ross gives a black bag to Stan. "Can I get another? I'll leave the other five to you for the mean time to double check."

"Sure."

*End of Flashback*

"So that means, it is still not safe since your original plan is to make it as a trap?" Saffron asks. "Correct." Stan stands up, went to his desk and pick a notebook. "The other replications of Ostilirium and Apofevgro isn't fully replicated. I did a slight improvisation that can... Kill, harm, benefit or a combination of those."
