"You don't need to worry, I'm pretty sure what I saw is just the tip of the iceberg." Y/n said then take a sip from a mug.

"What type of my memories did you see?" Lizzie asks.

Y/n told her all of it. "Can't believe you have to go through that... It was so hard to take in.. Aside from I feel more bad about myself now, I feel guilty too for pulling you in this-"

"Please stop blaming yourself. That situation was meant to happen and it's not your fault. Look at me." She holds y/n's chin and gently face it to her. "It was my decision to jump in this mess. If you will still insist about you taking me in."

"But why? If it's that same reason again, I-"

"Let me finish." Lizzie holds her hand then caress it to relieve her emotional pain. "I wanted to help you because.. nobody wants to help since they have their own responsibilities and things to take care of... That happened to your grandma too and I know it hurts. Yeah you can say- you should've called an agency or a charity that can help with these things but you didn't." Lizzie explains.

She smiles. "Well... It was actually my plan at first.. Let you stay for a few days while I find a charity that can help." Lizzie takes a deep breath. "I start to doubt it when you almost got kidnapped at the pet shop.. When I called you and you glance at me- I saw how scared you are and there I realized that maybe... you should stay. I was indecisive at that time so I extended it for another week even though you are really stubborn." Lizzie gives her a hand towel neatly folded beside the pillow on the corner.

"And that's where I began to know you and realize how messed up your situation is... I grab the chance when your grandma called." She pause for a minute, thinking of what should she say next that might help her understand.

Then she remembered what she said on the podcast. "You said it yourself in the podcast. When you arrived here in LA... the bad luck has begun. After I called your grandma, it becomes a domino effect that even I can't control it."

Y/n stands and stares at the Marvel logo on the screen.

"With the situation becoming chaotic, you need a person that will help you. Remember how Kathryn can't understand how you can handle all that? She thinks it's too overwhelming for you. I think this situation is telling you for once to- to lean on someone. You only have two people you get to share your life with- your real life, the real you. Now, there's only one left and the other, you're still not sure."

Y/n turns to her, surprised that she knows. "Did Avery told you?" Her breath quavers. "If you're going to be mad please, don't. She told me so that I can keep going, I almost had a panic attack that time... I know it's hard to open up but you need to try. You can be vulnerable, to the right people." Y/n shakes her head no as Lizzie tries to prove her point. "They will not hurt you. I will not hurt you." Y/n steps back.

"Bullshit. Let's call it a day, I'm-"

"No, we are not sleeping until this is settled and don't even use your powers as a means of escape." Lizzie holds her arm when she tries to leave.

She pushes her away. "Please, just tell me what happened that night. Let me help set you free from it." Y/n is still deciding if she will disclose it or not, she kneels on the floor, on the verge of breaking down.

Out of nowhere, the room starts to get cold and some of the objects starts to float. "Y/n, you need to decide now." Lizzie walks cautiously towards her.

A spark of electricity appears around her, although Lizzie is frightened by it, she continues to move.

Lizzie kneels in front of her. Y/n is trying her best to control her anger. She lends her hand. "Show me what happened that night if you can't say it. You have to decide now, your emotions are overpowering you and soon your powers will go out of control. Like Maximoff."
